He finally gets one in the zone against Heyward. Now a foul makes it 3-2. Heyward pops out! 1 down. Looks like we will be seeing Cmart after all today. Excuse me while I grab the Tums.

Tony Kemp is the Cubs’ last hope. Carlos bears in…0-1 on a first pitch change. Now another strike and it’s 0-2. Cards fans are on their feet…Carlos overthrows one and it’s 1-2 in the dirt. Now 2-2 outside. No fastball? There it is as Kemp fouls off a 99 mph heater. The 2-2 is *just* outside. Even Kemp thought he was done. He walks. Ugh

Now CMart can’t get two in a row and opens the gas can with a walk. Zobrist represents the winning run at the plate. First pitch was way high and it appears CMart has lost his touch, so Yadi calls a meeting.
