Participantfirst pitch ball isn’t good, now behind 2 pitches, we never learn
September 20, 2019 at 5:01 pm #107383
stlcard25ParticipantThe Cubs have left 17 on base today, per the MLB At Bat app. The Cards say “hold my beer”…26 left on.
September 20, 2019 at 5:03 pm #107384Nice job by Miller to come back to get Heyward.

Participantnow we are in the danger zone, Martinez is coming in.
September 20, 2019 at 5:04 pm #107386
stlcard25ParticipantMiller can’t find the zone. Ugh. No leadoff walks!!!
He finally gets one in the zone against Heyward. Now a foul makes it 3-2. Heyward pops out! 1 down. Looks like we will be seeing Cmart after all today. Excuse me while I grab the Tums.
September 20, 2019 at 5:04 pm #107387Time to buckle your seat belts!
September 20, 2019 at 5:04 pm #107388No! No! No! No!
September 20, 2019 at 5:05 pm #107389Miller gets Heyward, so two more outs to go. Now Shildt going to CMart. Maybe it’s time to go for a jog.
September 20, 2019 at 5:05 pm #107390CMart coming in.
I bought a new bottle of Mylanta today. I am ready.
September 20, 2019 at 5:05 pm #107391I don’t agree with putting CMart in there . He needs rest
September 20, 2019 at 5:05 pm #107392I call CMart rule in effect, if he walks the first batter he comes out!
September 20, 2019 at 5:05 pm #107393Cottar called this pitching change…I don’t like this change.
September 20, 2019 at 5:06 pm #107394
stlcard25ParticipantMan am I tired of that Budweiser commercial with Charlize Theron. How about a little variety for a change?
September 20, 2019 at 5:08 pm #1073952 out
September 20, 2019 at 5:09 pm #107396
stlcard25ParticipantCarlos facing Hoerner and he’s not getting the edge of the zone. He is, however, throwing 97-98. Must have some adrenaline going. It’s 2-2 on Nico. He gets the fly ball. 2 out!!
September 20, 2019 at 5:10 pm #1073971982 willie
Participantdon’t know if i like the low pitch to this guy
September 20, 2019 at 5:10 pm #107398Okay, that was good CMart to Hoerner. Not to jinx him, but he looks more controlled today. We need good CMart for one more batter.
September 20, 2019 at 5:10 pm #107399Better get Kemp with Castellnaos on deck. He has 57 doubles this year.

Participantcarlos is feeling it a bit
September 20, 2019 at 5:12 pm #107402Oh boy … another walk …
September 20, 2019 at 5:12 pm #107403
stlcard25ParticipantTony Kemp is the Cubs’ last hope. Carlos bears in…0-1 on a first pitch change. Now another strike and it’s 0-2. Cards fans are on their feet…Carlos overthrows one and it’s 1-2 in the dirt. Now 2-2 outside. No fastball? There it is as Kemp fouls off a 99 mph heater. The 2-2 is *just* outside. Even Kemp thought he was done. He walks. Ugh
September 20, 2019 at 5:13 pm #107404Here we go.
September 20, 2019 at 5:13 pm #1074051982 willie
Participantjust not good. carlos isn’t handling the pressure very well. you can see it. may work out but i don’t know, wheres Gallegos
September 20, 2019 at 5:14 pm #107406Now CMart can’t get two in a row and opens the gas can with a walk. Zobrist represents the winning run at the plate. First pitch was way high and it appears CMart has lost his touch, so Yadi calls a meeting.
