Unbelievable play at Miller Park in the visitor half of the 4th inning. Never seen one anything like it.

Now 7 full, BW. Snell at 91 pitches and a base hit shy of a perfect game. If I don’t run him out there for the 8th I deserve to be tarred and feathered…
A sac fly to deep CF from Chourio makes it a 2-1 game with a baserunner at 2B and 2 outs for the Brewers. Should have stayed with Snell.
And now a BB to Yelich as he represents the winning run for the Brewers. That’s what the Dodgers get for removing Snell while he was on auto pilot and working a 1 hit game on “only” 103 pitches…All jokes aside, I’d have allowed him to start the 9th inning.
Unbelievable…Turang K’s on a pitch up above his shoulders as the Dodgers escape with a 2-1 W in the opener of the NLCS.
The Brewer loss at home in the NLCS opener places the same sort of pressure on the Brewers as was present with the Blue Jay’s loss in the ALCS opener. The Brewers are now required to win tomorrow’s game 2 or face the dire prospect of having to win 2 of 3 games at Dodger Stadium in order to merely survive and return the NLCS to MIL. It’s my view that if a team holds HFA, there’s more pressure on the home team than the visitor to win the opener. In any case, if the Brewers have to walk into Dodger Stadium down 2-0, it’s my view they’ll be walking right into a bear trap.
Just leaving for tonight’s game at Milwaukee County Stadium (that was for you, Rat). No way Milwaukee loses this game……but I thought the same about Toronto last night. 6-4 Crew your final with Yelich reaching the cheap seats with bat in hand. Din-din at the park will be 2 all beef dogs smothered in raw onions and yellow mustard, waffle fries, cotton candy, root beer and for dessert, I’ll have a small, but smooth bottle of Wild Turkey on hand that I will have successfully smuggled in.
I’d have to call tonight’s game 2 Yamamota/Peralta pitching matchup a stalemate. HFA should afford the Brewers a slight edge, but they also get saddled with the immense pressure of knowing that if they don’t win tonight’s game they’ll travel to Dodger Stadium down 2-0 in this NLCS. Unless they take command by jumping out to an early and substantial lead, I’d say the Brewers are in serious trouble against what I feel is a clearly superior team. I look for the Dodgers to win tonight’s game 2 and head back to LA up 2-0.
Since you’re going to occupying a seat, I hope you get to see the Brewers hang a W up on the board to even up this NLCS, Pugs. I’d like to see it go the full 7, but I just don’t forsee that happening. In any case, I’m nothing more than a bungling baseball gypsy fortune teller, so those Brewrs may win the next 4 consecutive games…Haha!

The Dodgers just don’t let up. If the household name sluggers don’t inflict major damage the rest of the lineup just grinds out AB’s and slow bleeds the opposition. It’s a formidable lineup that doesn’t afford an opposing pitcher any air.
Muncy taters up with the solo HR in the visitor half of the 6th to extend the Dodger lead to 3-1 and end Peralta’s night. Uribe gets the baseball to face T. Hernandez.
Dodgers tack on another run with the Ohtani RBI base hit to extend the Dodger lead to 4-1 but it could be a whole lot worse for the Brewers. A late inning 3 run deficit is surmountable, but it’s getting real near to the rotund lady belting out a tune.
