Whoa!…Three run TATER from former Redbird Garcia puts the Rangers on top 4-2…Good post-season baseball game! Earl is smiling…Haha!

Now Dusty has to go get his HOF RH’er. This game’s far from in the books.

Must be an important televised wrestling match on…No one’s watching any post-season baseball action.

    1td?

I just got back from spending four hours in the ER with an abcess down just below my left you-know-what.

And let me just say the gal that did the ultrasound on me down there in that area, well, she got done too quick – if you know what I mean.

Garcia gets drilled after ripping the 3 run tater. Dusty’s on the opposing top step…

HPB and 3 ejections. Juices flowing.

Yeah, and that wasn’t a run of the mill HBP. The fact that it came after Garcia’s 3 run HR made it a little suspect. The fact that Dusty’s in the opposing dugout made it an open and shut case…Haha!

To get nothing out of that inning is a bad omen for Texas. Jung’s AB was a big fail.

Astros back in business with runners at 1st and 2nd, no out and Altuve standing in.

That’s how you give it away. Atta boy, Rangers.

This has been a good one and it’s still a long way from being placed in the books. Texas has to keep it at a 1 run game.

Rangers now in business with two aboard and no outs. “And the battle continues to rage.” A tribute to Al Michaels…

Houston pulls it out 5-4 in the best postseason game I’ve seen in a while. I get a feeling this one extends to the full 7.

Back over to another LCS, this one in the good old NL. Too bad the DH prevents it from it from taking on a different flavor. At any rate, obviously I wish my favorite team was involved in some of these games, but it doea have an upside in the sense that I can kick back and enjoy the action without having to worry about having quick access to the nitro tablets just in case…Haha!

This Castro working the mound for AZ will never be accused of having the type of legs that were built on to Tom Seaver…Looks like more like a Captain Ahab who got in two tussles with a white whale.

Yea 1td, not having a rooting interest does have its advantages. You can thank Oli for that! Of course, I really think Mo deserves the lion’s share of the bla…..thanks.

Although I care next to nothing who wins, I am surprised I’ve still gotten frustrated when players don’t come through. It’s things like Jung striking out and not driving in a run in the 8th for Texas today — or like those DBacks’ base running mistakes last night, even though they still won.

Yeah, good point, Euro. He’s good for something after all. I jumped on the Oriole’s bandwagon, but they got bounced in a hurry, so I don’t really have any sort of vested interest concerning who advances either. I just like watching and hope both series extend to the full ride. Some of the most entertaining baseball I’ve seen has been between teams other than the Cardinals. The 70’s stand out only because there was no post-season Redbird baseball. A couple of the Yankees/Royals ALCS and the Yankees/Dodgers WS of that era are still pretty vivid memories. Also, I’ll never forget one from the 80’s in the form of the ’86 Red Sox/Angels ALCS. Game 5 of that series may have been the best baseball game I’ve ever seen. And that same year provided game 6 of that season’s WS. Poor Bill Buckner…Haha!

Looked almost like Rivera should have tried to get back to the 3B bag for a force out. At any rate, the E5 leads to 2 runs for Philly.

Boy, that Rojas comes equipped with afterburners. I didn’t think he had a chance for 3 bases but he was in there for a triple without it being real close on the throw.
