Pujols singles to left then Goldy swings through a 94 mph middle-middle fastball. Gotta make contact there.
October 8, 2022 at 9:39 pm #203925Come on Goldy!
October 8, 2022 at 9:39 pm #203926Goldy whiffs for out #2. Not an MVP performance.

ParticipantGoldy up there. You might as well just put the bat boy up there. That’s how horrible he’s been. Hasn’t squared anything up.
October 8, 2022 at 9:41 pm #203928Not sure I’ve ever seen as good of a hitter as Goldschmidt look so entirely lost.
October 8, 2022 at 9:42 pm #2039291982 willie
ParticipantNola isn’t that good but he’s making our guys look like bad little leaguers.
October 8, 2022 at 9:43 pm #203930Not sure I’ve ever seen as good of a hitter as Goldschmidt look so entirely lost
Same with Arenado.

jj-cf-stlParticipantGolden-Nado just got schooled
October 8, 2022 at 9:44 pm #203932They went upstairs with him for the K, but Nado’s hit the ball hard a couple of times.

stlcard25ParticipantI remember how everyone was so concerned about having to play Milwaukee again…I wonder if 12-1/3 scoreless innings with 5 hits and a 0.57 WHIP will prove that the Phillies were the far, far, far worse matchup for this team.
October 8, 2022 at 9:46 pm #203934Nado strikes out on fastball above the zone. Goldy all over the place. What to do?
Yeah it’s a pain Pugs to replace all those cards. First thing to do is close em all down. Got my accounts hacked couple years ago and the bank wouldn’t even tell me how it turned out. They refunded my money though-insuredOctober 8, 2022 at 9:46 pm #2039351982 willie
ParticipantIf we had our old outfield before bader trade, that ball to right center would have been caught.
October 8, 2022 at 9:47 pm #203936The Phillies have outplayed us in about every aspect of the game. We are hanging by a thread.
October 8, 2022 at 9:50 pm #203937Wheeler and Nola have been tough.
Burnes and Woodruff would have also been tough.
If Helsley doesn’t suffer a fluke injury in Pittsburgh he probably finishes off that game yesterday and the series would look a lot different.
But them is the breaks.
October 8, 2022 at 9:51 pm #203938
jj-cf-stlParticipantStrike 3 but SchwRber gets the call
October 8, 2022 at 9:52 pm #203939Just thinking…….I didn’t break many bats in my days of playing baseball. I wonder if I wasn’t swinging hard enough?
October 8, 2022 at 9:52 pm #203940Monty dances out of trouble again. The Phillies should be up 6-0 right now.
October 8, 2022 at 9:52 pm #203941
jj-cf-stlParticipantK him anyway.nice job Monty
October 8, 2022 at 9:53 pm #203942That 1 out K with a runner at 3B may now prove to be the biggest since that K at Shea Stadium if the Redbirds can pull this one out of the fire.
October 8, 2022 at 9:54 pm #203943Monty brought his A game in a reliever role. Now need offense, still.
October 8, 2022 at 10:00 pm #2039441982 willie
ParticipantDickerson gets a hit, even if Molina does nothing, makes next inning a bit better with edman leading off.
October 8, 2022 at 10:01 pm #203945Nola hits the showers, going 6 2/3 scoreless frames…..but is responsible for Dickerson at 1st base.
October 8, 2022 at 10:02 pm #203947Yadi will be swinging for the fences against the lefty.
October 8, 2022 at 10:09 pm #203948
jj-cf-stlParticipantThe analytics gurus must be scared to death of hoskins/Realmuto vs a lefty. Same place we pulled Q yesterday.
October 8, 2022 at 10:13 pm #203949Should be. Especially Hoskins and Bohm. They crush LHP. This whole team is good vs LHP except Marsh and Schwarber.
