The main problem I have is not having a legitimate 2 or 5 hitter. Pujols is best 6th.
Pujols has been one of the best hitters in baseball since the all-star break. He’s a top 4, maybe 5 hitter right now, even against RHP.
His season OPS, even with the sluggish first half, IS BETTER than Arenado!
mlbtv has decided that Cardinal fans outside the United States don’t need a live stream. Zut! Consequently I am saddled with Gameday, which is no fun at all.

Yep. But he can’t run the bases in front of line drive, doubles hitters. 1 and 2 have to at least be OK at running the bases. With the way the team is constructed he’s best 6th with a “2nd lead off” in Nootbaar in front of him.
My positive comment…. I’m so glad to be able to see this game.
My Negative Comment…. the camera equipment being used and commentators
is like third world. The only clear pictures on my TV are the center field
behind the pitcher….and the dugout side view of the batters.All other angles are kinda blurry or a tad bit out of focus.
Definitely not what I’m used to seeing with Bally or Fox or ESPN.
Maybe it’s my TV provider, Spectrum, and the spectrum app I’m using on ROKU.
Also…the roving reporter, Alden Gonzalez, seems like he just got out of high school.

It’s an ESPN broadcast. And we have a Yankees announcer and ESPN analyst and former Yankee ARoid. He’s actually a pretty good announcer. Just a Yankee guy.
