Jack was excellent in that 6th. He had some strong innings and some not great ones but he got it done. 6 innings, 6 hits and 8 Ks. 1 run. Make a winner out of the Socal boy, Cards!
Miller got a nice pitch to hit on 2-0. Had to pinch hit for Bader. Still, he flies out. Only 8 more outs for this team to get something done.
The breathless love for the Padres by this ESPN crew is annoying. I would root against them even if they weren’t playing the Cards.
