Need Reyes to hold the Pads here.

6 outs left in the season unless they can get the offense going. *Someone* in the Pads bullpen must be tired and able to be hit… right?

If the Cardinals get beat tonight, that means all 4 central teams can’t even get out of first round. No matter how you look at it, it isn’t good.

That was a great play by wong and a bad play by wong all in one play

Now the defense lets us down. San Diego is gonna get an insurance run.

A tough spot here for the Redbirds.

    All 7, not just 3.

Off DeJong’s glove. I wish he could have held on.

Ok, this is over. Edman somehow missed the base and then blew the throw.

Can’t seem to make a throw without bouncing it

Yea but the throw wasnt nowhere near the bag, not dejongs fault. I was talking about the NL but I suppose you are right.

No outs. Edman didn’t step on the bag at 3rd.

See how easy it is to score runs off the other team’s pen? Melt down in progress.

This will draw heat, but in all of my heart, I want a new SS for our team.

This team has mentally lost it. Reyes bounces one. 3-0.

Shildt screwed the pooch with the chance yesterday and that was it.

Bases loaded walk, no outs. Unraveling quickly.

Dejong has a lot of value. I wouldn’t mind exploring that value in a trade. Move Edman to SS and bring up Sosa for defense. See what else you can get for helping the team’s inconsistent offense.

Not at all Pugs. PDJ has been a zombie in the playoffs the last two seasons.

Heck of a double play there. Can’t say I had ever seen that at the ML level.

or flip Edman and DeJong. DeJong handles bullets better at 3B

Defense let the Redbirds down. trailing 3-0.

Hoping they have a rally left in those bats.
