The walk sucked after being ahead 0-2, but Gomber restored order. It could’ve been worse.
Who thinks 4 runs is enough?
Struck out Tatis! Cards lucky that inning was not worse. They lead 4-2. Need to get the bats going again. I do not feel comfortable with a two-run lead.
Wow, blew him away. Somehow the Cards snuck out of that without a total disaster.
Still, the bats must get some more runs. Can’t rest on your laurels here. Shildt needs to play matchups with guys like Carpenter and Bader, Fowler the rest of the night.
Edman got a pitch to hit and put some wood on it. But just a tad too much loft and Pham was able to run it down. Now up to Goldy and Dylan to get that run in.

Goldy gets Wong to 3rd but it’s still gonna require a base hit here. I think Dylan may have it in him.
This is an insanely long game. Over two hours and must barely half way. Could use a nice quick half inning here from Gomber.
