I’m voting Jordan Walker #1. His size, speed, contact and power to all fields, and baseball IQ is phenominal at his age. He played Lo & Hi A ball way beyond his years. He may not stick at 3B, but he has All-Star potential for many years.

I like some of the new additions to his top 50, but one player was left off who is having a pretty solid season for Palm Beach. I believe Jacob Buchberger has played well enough to earn at least an honorable mention spot, if not in the top 50. Since June 1st, he is hitting .348 with 2 HR’s, 3 3B’s, & 8 2B’s. He has played 3B, 1B, and some LF. He is leading the team in hits and 3rd in RBI’s.

Jacob Buchberger put the ball in play against deGrom as well, ground out to the 3rd baseman.

I am new to the business side of the minor leagues. what are the unobvious reasons for players moving up/down? Obvious reasons include filling positions for injuries at higher/lower levels. Do they look at batting averages, fielding percentages, slugging percentage, exit velo, etc.?

In regards to Brian’s article about RDCS only allowing fans Thursday, Friday, and Saturday. Will the parents of the players be allowed to enter the stadium to see their son’s first professional game? I think the first week should be open to public, then change it to the three days as reported. My two cents.
