Cruz may have thrown him out easily. If he executes a good throw…And if the catcher holds on and gets the tag down.

What the heck was Carp looking for? Two strike pitch and he “stood there like the house at the side of the road”, as Ernie Harwell used to say. That pitch was right down the middle!

    Donny showed up, Carp didn’t.

Struggling to score runs against the Pirates makes me sleepy.

Burleson looked like a ballet dancer on that lazy fly ball…

Well they beat us in extras last night, so it’s only fair that we come out on top today.

Haha!….Burly sure did, TD…..I was wondering what he was doing out there….kind of a nice little pirouette.

The Pages decision was about catching 🙃
    The double is icing.

Pedro with a clutch ringing rbi double! He seems to hit well on the road on Sundays.

It’s imperative that we plate 2 runs here.

This home plate ump looks as if he’s itching to call anything close to the zone a strike……which could account for such a low scoring affair…..especially considering today’s starting pitchers…..not to diminish Pallante’s efforts today, as he was simply marvelous.

That was a big 2 out RBI from Burleson. We’ve all seen that a 1 run lead in extras holds up about as well as a frightened horse.

Pages often clutch in late game on the line moments.

    Now King gets the 10th.

Complete mental lapse by Donovan. He forgot about the Manfred man

    Is Helsley on the IL?

Who really cares…..let Taylor score that meaningless run.

Unbelievable. He forgot he was playing baseball.

And now Donovan forgets about the Manfred man!!!

Yeah, this is a spot for Helsley. Lately I disagree about when we use or don’t use Helsley.

Yeah, that runner was irrelevant. But it was still silly.

Pages also had a nice “strike em out, throw em out” inning with Pallante.
