I know Sonny has been worked hard this inning, but this move is a mistake in my opinion. I would have kept Sonny in, then gone to Kitty in the seventh.

Two players have won MVP and ROY in their first season, Pugs. Fred Lynn in ’75 and Ichiro Suzuki in ’01. I should have thought of at least one of those two. I need more coffee…Haha!

Worked out this time, but I agree with BicycleMike. Speaking of Kitty, you know I’ve only had 3 favorite players in my entire life. Sometimes a player just inexplicably touches you……and Kitty has me, making it 4 Cardinal favs. My first was George Hendrick, followed by Tommy Herr, Albert and now Kitty.

I’m kind of conflicted with Milwaukee, Albert. Part of me wants them to lose against everybody except us and the cubbies , so we can possibly make a move on them. But on the other hand, I want them to keep winning so the cubbies don’t catch them.
