Never! We’re the type that go down with the ship, JJ…….except if I had been on the Titanic……I admit it I’m a wimp when it comes to drowning in ice cold water…..ole’ Pugs just may have slapped on a blonde wig, earrings and a dress…..which would make me fit right in these days. Lynn and Gasser both looking tough here in the 2nd…..that’s what? 4 K’s for Lynn now?

Ok 3rd inning. This is the inning that I predicted that Gasser would get gassed. How about 3-4 runs here, gentlemen?

Did Rat’s girl friend not show up again? He will be depressed.

Carlson hit that ball well – just did not find a gap.

Winn leads off the 3rd in fine fashion by singling. Didn’t know Rat was seeing some little filly, BicycleMike. He’ll have to fill us in. As they say “a gentleman never tells”…….but Rat and I will never be classified as true gentlemen unfortunately.

Winn not batting first or second in the lineup is all you need to know about the inadequacy of those making baseball decisions for this organization.

Oh Front Row Amy…….Rat is kind of smitten with her to say the least.

    “FRA”…..that’s hilarious, BicycleMike!

I noticed that the Oakland A’s are 3 games under even and only 4 games off the pace in the ALW. I have to extend a lot of respect and credit to that team for not only an immense improvenment over last season, but also for not packing it in as a result of being a sort of refugee or stateless sort of ballclub. I don’t know much about the players on that team, but it’s nice to see them displaying some pride and playing in a manner that’s competitive. I’d say Mark Kotsay should receive some accolades.

Yeah, that Athletics club is doing alright. Another team that has improved is Washington. The ‘Nats are hanging around the .500 mark as well.

The A’s have a top prospect with the same name as a current major leaguer. Anyone know who this youngster is?

Great observation, TD! Oakland is a surprising bunch. Earlier in the year I thought they might be prime candidates to lose 100 games. Now it’s not all that far fetched that they’ll be playing in October.

Gonzalez or Hernandez, BicycleMike? Seems like almost every team has one of those. Jones and Davis used to be the most common baseball last names….but not any longer.

Man, thought Arenado would be all over that 3-1. This Gasser is bringing some gas and looks good. Why can’t we find guys like that?

“ Gonzalez or Hernandez, BicycleMike? Seems like almost every team has one of those.”

Not a real common name, but the kid is named Max Muncy. At some point in the near future we will have two Max Muncy’s in the bigs.

Seems like over the last 5 years or so, every darn obscure opposing starting pitcher tames our batters. Wonder why?

Max Muncy…..wow, such an uncommon name for any entity to have two of them. Wouldn’t that be something if they both finished with eerily identical career stats. Anyone have pics of both that we could see side-by-side?

Ouch! 4th inning base hit by Hoskins plates 2.

And that’s all they get. 2-0 Milwaukee heading to the 5th.

On that Hoskins single Lynn was not backing up home. Was Goldschmidt there – I did not see as they showed it real quick.

Can’t place my finger on exactly why, but Max Muncy sounds like a good name for an NBA shooting guard in the 70’s.

Just about every pitcher we face looks like a Cy Young candidate.
