If they break out it’ll be after they break even and surface to sea level with a W tomorrow. In any event, they’ve played well during this modest 3 game streak. I’m really impressed with the work out the BP from Kittredge. The Redbirds have won 4 of the last 5 games in which he’s appeared, and for the season he’s now only allowed 1 ER in 12 IP’ed. He and Romero are proving to be a tremendously effective R/L combination from the BP.

Might be wise to call your bookies for tomorrow …cardinals are 1-7 in series finale’s this year and haven’t swept a 3/4 game series since last July
