Thanks LACardFan. That settles that thought.

jj-cf-stlParticipantHe’s Memphis depth getting some active roster time due to injuries. Fun to watch and root for. The playing time may make him better next time he’s active.

jj-cf-stlParticipantGoldys timing is looking better. Frozen for the K.
April 27, 2024 at 3:52 pm #249782
jj-cf-stlParticipantHouser’s hitting his spots better. Good battle by Burly.
April 27, 2024 at 3:53 pm #249783Pallante started for Memphis today. No runs through 3 so far but he has had some traffic each inning.
April 27, 2024 at 3:54 pm #249784
jj-cf-stlParticipantGorman doubles from the 7-spot, rbi
April 27, 2024 at 3:54 pm #249785Yeah, Goldy is coming out of it. But his confidence should be pretty high right now, so surprised he took a two strike pitch right down the middle.
Big two-out double by Gorman. Even Nado scored on that with that piano he carries on his back. 😀

jj-cf-stlParticipantHes around the plate now Siani, bunt him
April 27, 2024 at 4:05 pm #249789
jj-cf-stlParticipantOne out double…..
April 27, 2024 at 4:09 pm #249790
jj-cf-stlParticipantStranded
April 27, 2024 at 4:11 pm #249791Thompson relieves Pallante in Memphis after Pallante walked his first 2 in the 4th on a lot of pitches in the dirt.
April 27, 2024 at 4:12 pm #249792Gray doesn’t look as sharp today. But he’s been effective with the Mets swinging at some bad ones.
April 27, 2024 at 4:15 pm #249793Don’t like the body language of Sonny. Looks like he’s dealing with some tightness or something is not quite right.
April 27, 2024 at 4:22 pm #249794Sonny still strikes out the side with a walk mixed in.
April 27, 2024 at 4:22 pm #249795Let’s hope the second tier bullpeners dont blow this one up. We will likely see King and Gallegos. They will likely be needed for 3 innings or more. Libby has been okay – maybe he can take two innings and one of the arsonists will only need to get three outs.
April 27, 2024 at 4:24 pm #249796Goldy a gift single – was really an E-6.
April 27, 2024 at 4:24 pm #249797I’d like Gray to just go 6. Have an easy start and let the bullpen go 3. Hopefully we have an 8 run lead at that point.
April 27, 2024 at 4:25 pm #249798Burleson’s swing is a bit mechanical, but he takes that outside pitch the other way pretty good.
April 27, 2024 at 4:26 pm #249799Good. Burn through the Mets bullpen. They have been good. But they’ve worked a lot.
April 27, 2024 at 4:36 pm #249800Holy smokes a 6-0 lead for Sonny and only 2 Ks up and down the line up?
Who are these guys wearing Cardinal uniforms??
April 27, 2024 at 4:36 pm #249801Seems like Winn would be off balance a lot with that big stride he takes. As a pitcher I would throw him fastballs off the zone, and change ups in the zone. As a hitting coach, I would work to “quiet” his approach a little. But he does okay as is, so what the heck.
April 27, 2024 at 4:37 pm #249802O’Neill with a homer and a double today. That’s 9 home runs and his first double. Do you think he likes having the green monster in left? I believe he does. Oh, and it’s against the Cubs so I’m a big O”Neill fan today.
April 27, 2024 at 4:41 pm #249803Error and a walk puts Gray on the defensive. Come on Sonny. Let’s get the DP or a strike out.
April 27, 2024 at 4:41 pm #249804Need Narvaez to roll over one here…he Ks but the runners advance on the wild pitch.
