I agree JJ. I said earlier that Ollie should have a quick hook. I thought he maybe should have pulled Mikolas before JD just because the last 2 batters he had started leaving pitches a little more up.
Quinn Mathews was indeed pulled after 6 innings and 13 strikeouts. I was actually a bit surprised they started him at Low A this season given his age coming out of college. He’s clearly ready to move up. And speaking of ready to move up, if there was any space for him, Roby looked ready yesterday. He was tremendous. But he only got to go 4 because of rain.
Another Apple consideration is they bundles services such as TV, music, cloud storage, etc. I think the bundling is called Apple One, not sure because I don’t use their products. But the point is if you are already paying for at least one of their other services without the bundle, you might be able to add Apple TV+ for nothing or very little.
JJ – I think JoJo was the right call there with the lefty up. He can stay in for the 7th and give Kitty the 8th.

Siani – Grounded one ticketed for right field between 1st and 2nd, but Alonso dives and smothers the ball and flips to his pitcher to rob the Cardinal center fielder of a hit.
Donovan – Grounds it towards the middle of the diamond where the 2nd baseman McNeil dives but the ball glances off his glove and Donovan has himself an infield hit
Pitching change: Jorge Lopez now pitching.
And Jorge’s first move in this game is not a good one as his pick off attempt is an errant one as Donovan will safely race over to 2nd base.
Contreras- Bounces it out to Lindor at short and that would have been a DP if not for the bad pick off play….and Lindor will gun his man out at 1st base with Donovan scooting on over to 3rd.

Man, Chris Sale is dealing in this Braves-Guards game. Has retired 17 straight and has only thrown around 90 pitches through 7. Braves up 5-1.

Man. This umpire. Mets are getting strike calls against us with pitches 2 inches low and now Goldschmidt gets one against him that was 2 inches outside.
Gallegos hasn’t received many hold situations lately. I’ll bet you a wooden nickel he gets the next tied appearance. He needs a season changing appearance, for going forward.
And right after typing that, Burleson gets a strike called on him that was 4 inches low and questionably inside.
