Apple TV decides around 2 weeks in advance which Friday night game it is going to broadcast. So there may be more to come.

As a quick aside, someone earlier today mentioned the name David Jay Pecker in this thread. I was reading an article about him the other day and I guess he’s a huge baseball fan. He loved his Yankees. So much so that his friends as a kid nicknamed him “Yank”. First thing that came to my mind after reading that was thank God he wasn’t a Giants fan and had the nickname “Giant” bestowed on him.
Liking what I am hearing so far in this one. I am watching two of the better teams in the early going, Guardians and Braves, and checking in here for updates.
Lars just misses a foul ball catch up against the stands on the run. Then Nido turns his new life into a home run about a foot beyond the jumping glove of Siani.
As for the Apple TV+ talk, I read you can get 3 free months from Best Buy for doing…….nothing. Just put it in your shopping cart when you check out online.

Nooty – Hits it on a soft line to straightaway center where Bader initially goes back on the ball and then it hits him that he’s got to go in the completeopposite direction…..and he races in to catch it just in th nick of time.
Arenado – Pops out to Alonso at 1st.
Goldy – Smokes a liner into left for a hit and I believe he’s emerging from his prolonged slump…..not all that unlike a big grizzly bear coming out of hibernation.
Burly – Walks and Burly is starting to resemble a batter whom belongs up here….and that walk right there will put the finishing touch on Butto’s evening……we got him, gang…..we got him pretty darn good.
Pitching Change: Josh Walker the new pitcher.
Gorman – Walks and now the bases are full to the brim with Birds.
Crawford- Come on Crawdad….need a hit! Strikes out swinging….ouch! We could have put some pretty fair distance between us and them with a hit.

Mets 1Another scoreless inning for Quinn Mathews for Palm Beach. 6 innings and 13 strikeouts. He’s now just over 90 pitches so he’s presumably finished.
I get Apple TV free because I’m a T-Mobile subscriber. I also get free MLB.com too, but all the majors games are blocked out for me. I do enjoy watching the minor league players though.
This performance is impressive tonight. You gotta love the patience and discipline. Pugs isn’t forcing the action, just waiting for a good play to come to him and nailing the call when it does. Others like jj and Jnevel picking him up when needed with timely comments about the action. The guys are are loose and relaxed and pumped up. I wouldn’t be surprised if all of them have been sporting rally caps all night.
Man, Marcel Ozuna has some monster numbers. 9 homers already, and 31 RBI. He has really put things back together after the problems of a couple of years ago.
Have we ever done worse in transactions that with Ozuna? We gave up Alcantara and Gallen for him, then let him walk. We would be much better off had we never made that trade, or had we re-signed Ozuna. Did we at least get a draft pick out of all that?
Hey jnevel, I am also a T-Mobile subscriber and get mlb.tv free. But I did not know we could get Apple TV free?? Was that one of those Tuesday’s perks that I missed?
