My wife wants to know if you didn’t get any cheese curds. They put cheese on everything. This game has taken a sudden downturn
What happened to our bull pen?August 31, 2019 at 3:00 pm #104540why leave Hudson in to start the 8th/ Foolish move…Hudson pitched a good game and was at 100 pitches,Schildt damn near screwed the pooch.
August 31, 2019 at 3:00 pm #104541You know…Shildt should have pulled DakHud at 100. Our pen is better than theirs but the DH factor got in his head.
August 31, 2019 at 3:00 pm #104542Have I ever said how much I hate walks? Major league pitchers need to be able to throw the ball over the plate. We just made a walkover close.
August 31, 2019 at 3:04 pm #104543With Edman up, how about a hit and run.
August 31, 2019 at 3:04 pm #104544Cardinals need some 2nd wind now.
August 31, 2019 at 3:12 pm #104545I don’t think I could stomach another runners on 2nd and 3rd with no outs bugaboo!
August 31, 2019 at 3:20 pm #104546Wong doubles and brings the momentum back to the good guys!!
August 31, 2019 at 3:20 pm #104547Wong bails out O’Neil and Fowler. Glad to see Bader, Edman, and Wong come through.
August 31, 2019 at 3:22 pm #104548Need to look into drilling holes in the toes of the rest of the Cardinals struggling hitters.
August 31, 2019 at 3:23 pm #104549Wong is beautiful.
August 31, 2019 at 3:25 pm #104550Powered by Wong again!

LOL you said it!
August 31, 2019 at 3:26 pm #104552Love cheese, but hate cheese curds, Wooster. cubs have the bases bubbling over vs Milwaukee with 2 outs in the 6th……and Guerra gets them out of it…..still 2-0 Crew.
August 31, 2019 at 3:29 pm #104553You just can’t go Wong!! Pun intended.
August 31, 2019 at 3:30 pm #104554Never thought I’d be pulling for the Brew Crew. When things are this close no tellin’ who I’ll be rooting for. Super Martinez showed up. Very nice win, Go Cardinals! See ya soon!
August 31, 2019 at 3:35 pm #104555It doesn’t take a crystal ball to see the cubs coming back late in this one to clip the Crew……hold them in check Crew! Should be Hader time soon.
August 31, 2019 at 3:38 pm #104556That 9th inning by Carlos was beautiful. 7 pitches, all for strikes and 3 outs.
August 31, 2019 at 3:51 pm #104558At this rate, CMart might be able to pitch in 3 of these 4 games.
August 31, 2019 at 4:15 pm #104559Crew still up 2-0 in the bottom of the 9th at Wrigley. Hader is pitching.
August 31, 2019 at 4:18 pm #104561At this rate, CMart might be able to pitch in 3 of these 4 games.
Have you ever dreamed of that elite starter who could throw 120 pitches every day and show no wear? Could you imagine his value and the extra position players you could carry. Just dreaming, but you never know. And that’s a wrap!! Crew cream the cubbies 2-0 to send Chicago spiraling 2 games back.
August 31, 2019 at 4:19 pm #104562If Hader is in it’s over.
August 31, 2019 at 4:19 pm #104563Crew defeat Cubs 2-0. Good news.
August 31, 2019 at 4:25 pm #104564Hader was lights out.
No one answered my earlier question. Anybody recall how much time the intermission was in between games when we were kids back in the 70’s and 80’s? And about when did they start these twin bills with 2-3 hours between games?
August 31, 2019 at 4:28 pm #104565As I recall there was less than an hour between games back then. Maybe 30-45 minutes.
