Not if a couple of knuckleheads don’t do their jobs. Gant and Ozuna flat out didn’t get it done.

Honestly I’d take the Double play if it costs a run.

Now Gant serves up a hanger right off the bat. Marcel with another circus show in LF to turn a double into a triple. Snakes have a great chance to tie with a runner on 3B and no outs. Now Gant walks the winning run on 4 pitches.

I have doubts Gant should be on the post season roster. The guy brings the gasoline and the match to the mound a lot lately. There’s not a playoff situation where I’d trust him. Shildt taking him out and Fernandez coming in. Maybe he can get a strikeout and then a DP. It’s about the only chance now.

Why in the world they put him in? He has not been effective in a long time. He does not play enough now because this happens when they put him in.

At this point I don’t see how John Gant makes the postseason roster. He is awful. Fernandez and Helsley are both better than him at the moment. He’s been gawd awful terrible since June.
