How can I? You just jinxed the hell out of it
Yeah, a slithering snake mascot would not only scare the kiddies, Wooster, but also some of we adults. Besides a cubs world series, that’s the one thing on this planet that scares me….snakes.
Oh no…..cheap freak play…..can they go back and give Goldy an error??? That’s no way to lose a no-no!

A big man would admit his transgression
Flaherty has spoiled me to the extent that when he’s slated to pitch, I’m totally expecting the opposition to not get more than one run…..maybe two if he’s having an off night. Do we have another rising Bob Gibson in our midst? He’s sure whiffing guys like Gibby used to do.
A big key to our post season success, or lack thereof, is going to be how Hudson pitches. If the one two punch of Flaherty & Hudson are on, we’ll be tough to beat….even by the Dodgers. I think we’ll take Atlanta…..gaining a little revenge for how rudely they treated us during regular season play. It’s the Astros one-two-three punch that scares me. Hopefully the Yanks can somehow knock them off.
Dr. Leo Marvin…..that is correct…thanks OrtaWasOut! If any of you get the chance, do yourself a favor and pick up one of Dr. Marvin’s books. They’ll make you feel like a million bucks .
I don’t think any of these are it, Pugs, but maybe they’ll spur some additional thoughts.
