“Carter Le Grand in the house…sweet! Bring us home this no-no Carter”
How can I? You just jinxed the hell out of it
September 24, 2019 at 10:44 pm #108283Yeah, a slithering snake mascot would not only scare the kiddies, Wooster, but also some of we adults. Besides a cubs world series, that’s the one thing on this planet that scares me….snakes.
September 24, 2019 at 10:45 pm #108284Ha! No jinx around here, Carter….maybd some hijinx, but no jinxs.
September 24, 2019 at 10:46 pm #108285No hitter no more.
September 24, 2019 at 10:47 pm #108286Oh no…..cheap freak play…..can they go back and give Goldy an error??? That’s no way to lose a no-no!

A big man would admit his transgression
September 24, 2019 at 10:53 pm #108289Flaherty has spoiled me to the extent that when he’s slated to pitch, I’m totally expecting the opposition to not get more than one run…..maybe two if he’s having an off night. Do we have another rising Bob Gibson in our midst? He’s sure whiffing guys like Gibby used to do.

I admit it, Carter…..i’m a mental midget.
September 24, 2019 at 10:56 pm #108291I believe Dr. Leo Marvin is credited with Baby Steps
September 24, 2019 at 10:57 pm #108292Like Clint Eastwood said” A mans gotta know his limitations!”
September 24, 2019 at 11:00 pm #108293A big key to our post season success, or lack thereof, is going to be how Hudson pitches. If the one two punch of Flaherty & Hudson are on, we’ll be tough to beat….even by the Dodgers. I think we’ll take Atlanta…..gaining a little revenge for how rudely they treated us during regular season play. It’s the Astros one-two-three punch that scares me. Hopefully the Yanks can somehow knock them off.
September 24, 2019 at 11:03 pm #108294Dr. Leo Marvin…..that is correct…thanks OrtaWasOut! If any of you get the chance, do yourself a favor and pick up one of Dr. Marvin’s books. They’ll make you feel like a million bucks .
September 24, 2019 at 11:03 pm #108295I don’t think any of these are it, Pugs, but maybe they’ll spur some additional thoughts.

September 24, 2019 at 11:06 pm #108298Cards strand Ozuna at 3B to end the 8th. I get the feeling this game is not setting up well.
September 24, 2019 at 11:08 pm #108299Good night gentlemen…..and you too, Carter Le Grand. With Flaherty pitching and Carlos waiting in the wings, this victory is in the bank and drawing interest. Nighty nite.
