wagee12, thank you for not calling Garcia a name. I really mean that. I can deal with a discussion over a player’s ability, but name-calling has no value.
I do have to admit that I was surprised that Garcia did so well on this contract. I guess lefties really do have nine lives.

In September 2016, I wrote about my concern over Oh having made a career-high number of appearances – at the age of 34. Looking back, his 138 games pitched with St. Louis were more than he had ever thrown in any two-year period in his career.
No problem Brian, back a couple of years ago I was only typing it the way it was pronounced on the radio! And btw, I don’t think he was worth anywhere near that amount of money and what if the arm woes return?
After Garcia was with the team for a while, everyone knew how to pronounce his name. He first came up a decade ago – in 2008.
Maybe Colby Rasmus is not retired, after all. The Orioles are interested and he may be, too.
