The Doppler Radar still shows alot of rain in and around the greater metropolitan Cleveland area.

They will be lucky they get this one in.

This may end up being a Barnaby Jones friday night.

One things for sure that either a team is going to win their first World Series, or the longest drought will end.

I totally respect Rat’s meteorological reports, so I’m heading right on down to the basement sports cave to NOT watch the ballgame, but rather Season 1 of Pawn Stars. Appreciate what you do for us, ER (Esteemed Rat)!

And the game is already in a Delay.

Wise move by Pugs to tune into Pawn Stars instead of a game thats delayed.

From close examination of the Doppler Radar it appears there might be a chance around 9:30 est to get the game started.

Then again, do not hold me to this prognostication.

Rick Harrison is 61 and retired. I was going to post some of his personal information from Wikipedia, but then decided to let him alone. At 61 he certainly has a lot of good years ahead of him.

This one’s a scratch. Game 3 moved to tomorrow evening 7 CT.

Brewers could have to sit for quite awhile waiting for their WS opponent if the ALCS goes 6 or 7 games.

Usually that matters. But these Brewers don’t seem to go by conventional norms. For example, the Brewers were down 4-0 after 2 innings in Game 3 of the NLCS. It looked like ‘game over’ to me. Who would have thought that the Brewers would score 6 runs. And shut out the Dodgers’ offense the rest of the way on the backs of May, Romero, and Ashby? Who would have thought?

Taking a gander at the weather conditions in the greater Cleveland area.

As I type this there is no green stuff on the Doppler Radar anywhere around the Cleveland metropolitan area. That bodes well for tonights clash.

Gut feeling is this one will be played tonight.

However, stay tuned for further meteorological updates as they become available.

Shortly before game time and the Doppler Radar shows all clear not only in the Cleveland area but the entire Midwest and Ohio Valley regions as well.

    Play ball!

Looks like it’s long handle weather in CLE tonight.

I think the rays are suffering from the same stuff the dodgers had. They cant hit for nothing. Trying to pull everything and swinging at pitches that at no point look like a strike. This last rays batter swung at 2 pitches barely off the ground.

That last guy for the rays had no clue how to sacrifice bunt. Then grounds into double play. Pretty pathetic.

It’s 2-1 Tampa Bay after six innings at Municipal Stadium in Cleveland, Ohio.

7-3 Tampa Bay Still in the top of the ninth. Looks like we’ve got a series that will go 6 or 7 games.

Cleveland is an interesting city on the shore of Lake Erie. The Rock and Roll HOF is there. It’s worth a trip to go there, IMO. St. Louis was supposedly in the running to get the Rock Hall back in the day. But, judging from the way negotiations went, I don’t think The Lou was a serious contender. BTW, the reason Cleveland was a serious contender was that a DJ coined the word ‘Rock n/ Roll’ in the early fifties, and St. Louis was a contender because Chuck Berry is considered ‘the father of Rock n/ Roll’.

Thats a good story there mudville. I knew the part about cleveland, didnt know that st louis had been in the running. Though because of chuck, it does make sense.

Yeah, in 2024 I spent a good part of the day at the Rock ‘n Roll Hall, then ventured down to the stadium for the Guardians – Tigers game.

The Hall is cool. They have an area where from what I could tell people can just set up and play. A band was playing with a female lead singer on keyboards, and they played the Beatles “Come Together” and were great! They had a young kid playing bass – really fun just watching them.

I also walked up by Lake Erie which is right there. We had a big rain storm come through but it cleared up and the game was played without a delay. The Guards beat Jack Flaherty that night.

And once again all is clear in the greater metropolitan Cleveland area. Tonights game should be played with no meteorological issues.

This is a must win for Cleveland. The Indians cannot go back to Tampa down 3 games to 2.

Yeah, going to Tampa-St Pete down 3-2 would be tough for the Guardians. And they are down 3-0 early in game 5.

But if the southern Twins take this series then both teams with the best records in their league would meet for the championship. A throw back to the old days.

And Bazzana grounds out to end it.

    3-1 Tampa Bay your final.

Rays one win away from the world series.

Indians two wins away from the world series.

Pugs three seats away from Front Row Amy and closing in…….

Well, the Guardians are gone. I never liked that new name anyway. I can understand some native Americans didn’t care for the original Cleveland team identifier but couldn’t they find a pretty bird or ferocious animal up there around Lake Erie?

Yep, the Florida version of the Twin Cities is a win away, with two games at home to get ‘er done. The Guardians started the series with the momentum but the Rays seized it.

Meanwhile the Crew sits back and waits. Kind of want a 7 gamer here, so Go Guardians!!

Perhaps things will be a little warmer down there in Florida.
