I wasn’t sure about the name change either CIF, but now that I am used to it I really like the name. Plus I looked up information on how the organization went about the process to change the name and was impressed. They did a lot of due diligence and did not take the process lightly, knowing how fans identify with their favorite teams so strongly.

Check out the guardians the team is named after. I wouldn’t want to face one of them in a conflict.

Rays win. I dont think its a given that cleveland cant win both at the rays but i wouldnt bet on it. We will see.

I wonder what kind of crowd the Rays will draw at home. I kind of favor Cleveland just because they have actual baseball fans there who have supported the team for a long time through good times and bad.

In ALCS Games 1 and 2, the Rays drew 35K and 32K fans, respectively. (both midweek games)

In G3, 4 and 5, the Guardians had 30K, 33K and 36K. (two of the three on the weekend)

    So, no real difference.

These games should be selling out. Ticket prices are too high.
