This is getting to be a bit silly…In only the second season of his Big League career, Yamamoto is already 6-1 with a 2.36 ERA in 9 post-season turns. I’d give him the baseball for tomorrow’s game 7…

It should be a great Game 7.

Yep, it all comes down to this. This has been a real good Series. Both teams have had their moments. Toronto with some bad luck last night on the ball stuck in the fence cushion.

My sense is the Jays will get it done tonight, but one thing I learned way back as a kid about baseball, just when you think you have it figured out, things go the opposite way.

Here we are, just over an hour away from 1st pitch.

I am going to call this one 7-3 Doyers with Watubi getting off the schneid with a couple of long dongs.

Anyone else with some last minute thoughts?

No more baseball until late March after tonight.

Well, I predicted the Dodgers to win the series but I’m really pulling for those pesky Jays! I was in the Skydome 32 years ago when Joe Carter hit that walk-off dinger to win it all. Maybe Vlad can make 40 million Canadians happy with a repeat today.

Final din-din of the season was a simple chicken soup with plenty of vegetables followed by a dish of Haagen-Dazs.

I’m almost always the sort of fan that pulls for the underdog, but I’ll be rooting for the Dodgers to win this WS game 7. In addition to being a NL fan, I’d also like to see a team based in the USA be crowned WS champion of America’s pastime. I’ll be okay if Toronto wins the Stanley Cup, but I want to see the Dodgers win the WS…

You almost have to love the Ohtani/Scherzer pitching matchup for tonight’s game. What better way for a game 7 of a WS to be fought to the finish than with an epic battle between Godzilla and Mad Max?

The Dodgers finally managed to get Vlad Jr. out. He’s been pretty good during this entire ’25 post-season. I wonder where he learned to hit so good?

Bichette makes Roberts and the Dodgers pay for the 3rd inning IBB to Vlad Jr. with a 3 run tater. I didn’t like the sac-bunt or the IBB. In my view, the 3rd inning of a tie game is too early in the contest for either one of of those tactics.

Little Eddie gets it in the air and deep enough to push across a run with a sac-fly to make it a 1 run game in the 6th inning. Could be some heart pounding action in the late innings of this WS 7th game.

And the Blue Jays answer right back with a run in the home half to extend the lead back to 2.

Jays got robbed, as Rojas should have been rung up with one out and nobody on in the 9th…….then on the next pitch he homers to left off Hoffman and this one is all knotted up at 4.

And the Dodgers tie it up at 4-4 as Rojas taters up in the visitor half of the 9th in Toronto. What else would you expect in a WS game 7? Here comes Joe Carter in the home half…

The longest WS game 7 was a 12 inning affair played in 1924 between the NY Giants and the Washington Senators. The Senators defeated the Giants by a score of 4-3 to win their first ever WS championship.

Toronto’s in serious trouble as the Dodgers have the bases jammed up with 1 out in the visitor half of the 10th.

Dominguez and the Blue Jays escape the jam unscathed as game 7 moves to the home half of the 10th. I’m still looking for Joe Carter to emerge from the Toronto dugout…

And Will Smith taters up in the visitor half of the 11th to lift the Dodgers to a 5-4 lead and possibly a WS championship.

And he moves up to 3B as Falefa lays down a perfect sac-bunt.

What a great World Series and game 7. We also got to see Yoshi with one of the best post season pitching performances. Back to back shutouts, a 6 inning great performance last night, and 2.2 tonight in crucial at bats to keep the game tied and then win.

My WS MVP pick grounds into a game/season ending twin killing and the Los Angeles Dodgers are your 2025 World Champions. If you’re a Jays fan, this one will be hurting you for many years to come……God Speed to each and every one of them.
