I don’t know when the last time was when I’ve see Adam induce so many GB’s. The only baseball he’s allowed to be hit into the air was the IF fly rule out in the 1st.

I’ll say it again. Betts is pretty good…

There is a lot of offence in USA lineup.

Yeah Bling, they just pointed out that the #9 hitter has a $300M contract…Haha!

Nothing’s been hit hard against Wainwright so far.

Adam has shown his experience tonight. He hasn’t been sharp but he’s just a pros pro. Expected he’d be about what we are seeing.

Agreed. A wily veteran fighting it out with fading stuff. I hope we see better fielding though.

Alonso drives in another one with a single and Anderson hits a SF, now 5-1 USA in the bottom of the 3rd.

Yeah, he’s a 2 time GG winner. I’ll never forget the time he and Molina let that weak pop up fall between them in front of the mound in the ’13 WS. Two GG winners and that baseball touches the grass on the IF at Fenway.

My view is that Wainwright’s been outstanding. I can’t think of one of the Cuban hitters that have made solid contact in this game.

Exit Wainwright, enter Mikolas. Great job by Wainwright to close the door after the 1st run.

These Cubans look like they eat pretty good. Must be a nice crop down on the collective farms.

Goldy’s seeing the baseball real well. Last fall he never would have laid off that pitch for the BB.

Goldy’s the best baserunner the Redbirds have had since Scott Rolen.

Redbirds, they’re everywhere, everywhere. Arenado just triples in Goldy for a 6-1 lead.

I can remember a time when these Cuban players would have been afraid of a prison sentence when they returned home…

Cuba ain’t what they used to be. It’s kinda sad the Dominican Republic lost before the semi finals. Puerto Rico, DR, US, Japan, Mexico, Venezuela are the class of this thing hands down.

That DR and PR game was great theater to watch. Amazing stars going at it all over the field.

Yeah, some of the Cubans are pretty tubby.

Not going great for Mikolas. Already given up 3 hits and 1 run. Needs to close the door right there.
