He threw one pitch out of 8 in the strike zone to Knizner. Knizner didn’t help himself chasing ball four 3 times.
Had Pallante pitched yesterday instead of Libby then he wouldn’t be pitching 2 today. Maybe not even one. We need inning from our starters or our bullpen is going to collapse.

That run he allowed was pretty unlucky. A ball through the infield in a place they are normally defending Senzel and then two slow hit infield grounders that weren’t fast enough to go to 3rd or home. Just that one leadoff walk that was really on him. He’s a groundball machine though.
Pallante’s throwing motion makes me think his shoulder is not going to hold up for a 15-year career.
2 bad at bats in a row there. Contreras took a fastball right down the middle for strike 3 and Nado reached a foot and a half outside to check swing a weak ground ball. Now we’re going to actually have to fast some good Reds pitchers at the back end of their bullpen.
Well that’s what I was thinking Jnevel. Take the team control and then extend him for no more than 8 years on his first real contract.
We’ve got the slump version of Arenado tonight. He looks lost. Plus the check swing call was not awful.
