Not putting any pressure on Philly with our dead bats isn’t gonna get it done. Gonna wait around for a home run? Sheesh C’mon man!
October 8, 2022 at 8:30 pm #203875Realmuto a human thus not perfect every time unless he’s robo-man!
October 8, 2022 at 8:32 pm #203876Should have run Edman just to get some energy going. Realmuto is tough to run against, but still gotta make them make the play.
October 8, 2022 at 8:33 pm #203877I’ll say it again, 1.82 pop (best in baseball) with an avg throw of 88mph. He’s harder than heck to run on. He’s a stud. 30 of 68, 44% caught. Best in baseball.
Compare that to Molina this season at 2.05 and 80 mph. Knizner 2.04, 81mph.
And the more I look into Murphy the more I give Oakland what they want. He’s 2nd in baseball with 1.89 pop and his avg throw is 86mph.
October 8, 2022 at 8:40 pm #203878Realmuto might be the best but maybe Tommy’s in the 56 per cent that doesn’t get caught. We really need to challenge Philly every chance we get. Play this game like we own this stadium. Sometimes gotta put your game face on and get after it.
October 8, 2022 at 8:41 pm #203879We need some sort of critter to race across the field of play to ignite our boys. Maybe Forschster took a rabbit with him for tonight’s game…….Rally Rabbit sounds much catchier than Rally Squirrel anyway. But seriously something very peculiar needs to happen to amp our Birds up.
October 8, 2022 at 8:43 pm #203880Got a break fire drill on foul ball!
October 8, 2022 at 8:44 pm #203881LOL Pugs- got a squirrel in your pocket?
October 8, 2022 at 8:49 pm #203882This Bohm fellow mannerisms annoy me.
October 8, 2022 at 8:49 pm #203883Bunt moves the runner over. Baseball 101
October 8, 2022 at 8:50 pm #203884Bombs just a kid but he is good esp at backhand catches
October 8, 2022 at 8:52 pm #203885Lookin like last night again Drama time!
October 8, 2022 at 8:54 pm #203886LOL Pugs……got a squirrel in your pocket?
I don’t even have my wallet, let alone a squirrel, Wooster. I somehow lost it yesterday at the health club. I had my locker secured and everything…….it just disappeared. I had somewhere in the neighborhood of $200-$300 cash, which I won’t lose any sleep over. But what a pain it is for my wifey to deal with all of the credit cards, license etc.
October 8, 2022 at 8:54 pm #203887Monty in. If they win Waino tomorrow
October 8, 2022 at 8:54 pm #203888Good play by Miles to get Marsh on a good bunt, then comes back to hit the next batter. Infield in with one out. Miles out for Monty. Ok with the defensive positioning, but our offense has got to get going or it’s all for naught.
October 8, 2022 at 8:57 pm #203889Bunt moves the runner over. Baseball 101
Haven’t done it all year. Albert is hitting 2. They aren’t worried about moving runners.
October 8, 2022 at 9:00 pm #203890Be a huge lift if Monty gets out of this pickle unscathed.
October 8, 2022 at 9:00 pm #203891This is going well. And the pizza was delicious.
October 8, 2022 at 9:01 pm #203892That throw has to go to 2B.
October 8, 2022 at 9:02 pm #203893Throwing to 3B made no sense on the sac fly.
October 8, 2022 at 9:03 pm #203894
jj-cf-stlParticipantYep, Yepez needs an infield gig and we don’t have one to offer.
October 8, 2022 at 9:05 pm #203895As stuck on zero as the Cards are, it’s still just a 2-run deficit.
October 8, 2022 at 9:06 pm #203896Decent job by Montgomery to limit the damage. Can the bats come to life please?
October 8, 2022 at 9:07 pm #203897Marco’s pepperoni, sausage with onions, Euro? I usually order pretty close to that with double cheese, sausage, onions and sometimes green peppers……..oh and it has to be thin crust…….thin is in.
October 8, 2022 at 9:10 pm #203898If we had Carlson in re that play would have been at home plate. Time to move a runner over?
