I was sitting here watching this guy’s film and the first thing I thought of was John Tudor then the MLB broadcasters made the same comparison, along with Chris Sale.
I was/am a big Preilipp fan obviously, they took the safe route vs ace potential. Going for 86-88 wins for the next decade clearly.
The analysts at MLB network love the pick and compare him to John Tudor and Chris Sale. Said he could be on the Cardinals roster as early as this season.
I was hoping susac would fall to us but I liked the pitcher they took. He has a unique delivery but so does pallante, so I’m not too worried about that. Has some really good stuff and hes a left handed that can get guys from both sides of the plate out which isn’t always the case. Best case probably a 3 or 4 starter but if not, definitely a great guy out of bullpen.
