EuroDandy…In regards to Vizquel, I wasn’t aware of any allegations. I thought maybe it had to do with the current expectations of getting more offensive production from the SS position. But still, the guy had almost 3000 hits and 11 GG’s at SS.
After making supper, finally sitting down to watch game just in time to see knizner hit his homer. That’s what he needs to do more of I think if he wants to stay our catcher. His defense is solid but not great so his power needs to show a little bit going forward.

Mikolas has to be with the sesson he’s had and how he’s finishing.
Quintana has been filthy his last few starts, but there’s Montgomery and Wainwright. And while they have struggled recently it would be hard to bump either of them.And yes I’m talking the first round when only 3, hopefully 2, are needed. The 2nd round they will need all 4.

Mikolas getting into some trouble here. Far as vizquel, yea I think it’s off field stuff but not sure what exactly without googling. Offensively he was fairly challenged as well. Yea he had almost 2900 hits but he had a lot of at bats, his average wasn’t great. I personally always thought he belonged because of his defense. If guys can get in for just offense, great defense should get you in as well. Wasn’t as good as ozzie in my opinion but still really good.
The ole’pick jar. Speaking of which, Wooster, I just whipped up a tuna salad with some pickles, onions, celery, and banana peppers for a late din-din. Have a leftover helping from yesterday of sauteed spinach that will probably go down the chute about the 7th inning stretch.

Dickerson is now 0 for his last 20. If O’Neill is back before the season ends, I think I’d prefer that Corey be left off the October roster. Even if he isn’t back I’m not sure that he merits a spot.

You know I lost my job at the banana factory. I kept throwing the bent ones out!Even though the Redbirds are up 5-0 in the 5th, this game is far from over…MIL can still come back and if we lose this one, we can kiss our post-season hopes goodbye…Haha!
