Pugs, your appraisal on #700 might be close. If I was the guy who caught it, I don’t think I’d settle for an autographed bat.
Boy did the Angels and Dodgers let Albert slip away a bit too early. Think of that Angel’s owner, who’s name presently eludes me, who paid Albert mega millions to basically preform at a slightly above average rate for a decade. Almost everything fantastic that has occurred in Albert’s career has happened wearing a Cardinal uniform.
Albert has said he doesn’t care about any of these historic baseballs and I believe him. He told the fan in Pittsburg that caught the ball that he hit to pass Rodriguez the he has “plenty of baseballs.” Albert likes to lose them more than he likes to keep them. All 700 of them…
Indeed Euro. My fear was that the lady who caught #700 might do something she’d terribly regret later, by flipping the ball to Albert for a bat and an autographed ball. This is basically a cool million bucks that just fell into her lap. If she’s already financially set, then fine, do a great deed by not seeking major bucks .

Funny I’ve been watching ESPN and Fox and neither channel or channels have even mentioned Albert getting 700. Pure disrespect. If judge would have got 61, it would have been everywhere. Not saying he doesn’t deserve it but pujols should be given proper respect.
willie, I think I recall you saying you have MLB Extra Innings. That means you could watch the game later in the MLB.tv archives. They are usually on archive about an hour or 2 after the game ends.

Willie82…They probably don’t have any access to replays before the game’s over, so they’ll wait until then to announce it along with the replays. The streaming contract is a genuine fiasco.
Well 1toughdominican, if that’s the case, it’s just one more reason they don’t need to be messing with these streaming sites unless it’s like Bally’s. Greed is a bad look for baseball.
