Damnit 1td, you spoiled it for me! Lol, my Apple stream is working fine, but obviously there is a time lag.
The Great Albert Pujols with all 5 RBI’s in tonight’s game now has collected 2208 RBI’s in his career. That’s 6 RBI’s behind Babe Ruth for second place on the all time RBI leaders list. He’s got a good chance guys.
Indeed TD …….Albert has to pick up that 6th and 7th RBI to catch the Bambino. Heck, Albert may get them tonight.
Pugs…My hope is the outside chance that he collects 6 more RBI’s and ends his career tied with the Bambino with 2214 RBI’s. Ruth/Pujols has a nice ring to it…
Just a thought…….what if the same person that caught #699 had come right back and snagged #700 too. That may have been a bigger story that Albert’s historic feat. Just off the top of my head I would put the monetary value on #699 at about 8K and #700 at about 750K.
I should have known Albert’s 700 would come on an apple broadcast where I wouldn’t see it. Oh well. Would have better if it happened at home as well. Congrats Albert. I knew you could do it from the start of the season as long as you had the opportunity. Might as well just blow past 700 now.
Maybe we should have more Apple TV games.
Could be that Danny Mac and Edmonds are jinxing us during their broadcasts…. With all the “He’s Due”…. And “I can feel one coming” comments.

TD? You could say that 700 more times and I’d still derive the same amount of amusement at #700 as I did at #1. Hey speaking of #1, does anyone have a clip of Albert’s first ML dinger? I’m surprised that Apple here wasn’t prepared to unleash it on this historic event.
Well this is the funnest game we have had in awhile. Got to see Albert do his thing and now all of the bats are coming to life. Against the Dodgers no less.

Had to leave the TV for a few minutes so I missed the 3-run top of the 5th. When I got back and saw the score I wondered if I missed Albert bagging 701.

I hope you can gain some sort of measurable pleasure knowing that TD, Euro Dandy, Bling, Tscurlo and your’s truly got Apple in this evening as clear as a bell for this once in a lifetime event, Willie. It’s too bad you couldn’t sue Apple here.
