Folks…….are we seeing too much playing time for Pujols?

Ollie is playing a good lineup. Gorman has done little to justify playing time.

In case anyone was wondering, Albert has previously faced tonight’s starter RHP Justin Dunn.

    6 PA, 1 H, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 HBP, which produces a batting line of .200/.333/.800/1.133

Who do you bench tonight to start Gorman? It’s a tough lineup to crack.

Just in case you hadn’t searched it out, StL leads mlb in offensive war (BR), and has for months.

BB, the Reds are going with RHP Fernando Cruz to start the game. Dunn may be the next man up, I’m not sure.

Let’s hope they took the nerf noodles out of the bat rack.

Yeah Bling and the wiggle balls too! Tonight’s game is a big question mark for me. Will flapjack last more than 2 innings? Will Poblo Cruz go more than 2? He’s supposed to be a lifetime AAA reliever with occasional ML starts. Trying to sneak him in under the rug? Could turn into the battle of the pens. Let’s score some runs tonight so we don’t have to scrape something together in the 9th.
I have also surmised part of our problem has been lack of Din-din support. I’m doing my part by having Boneless round steaks and home-made deep fried potatoe chips! Go Cardinals!

Cy Cruz strikes out the Cardinals side in the first on 10 pitches.

Sheesh, this Cruz guy carved us up. But all three Ks were on pitches nowhere near the zone. Not sure if he is that deceiving or our guys just need to be a little more patient.

Oops – probably my phone spell check again. “Progress”.

To answer Rats question on Albert, “No”.

Man, tough crowd. Cruz is dominant through 5 batters, then hits a guy and is removed.

Brewers load the bases with 2 outs… but McCutchen hits into the final out.

    Yankees still lead 3-0

OK the new rules for next year are supposed to make the game better. But what they should have done to really improve the game is move the pitching rubber back one foot. Don’t tell the pitchers, they wouldn’t even notice…

Flaherty just goofing off. Throwing too many pitches, hope he gets out of it but come on

Every time I watch Flaherty pitch. Ow I feel sad! What I though he could have been and what he is now is just demoralizing!
