Folks…….are we seeing too much playing time for Pujols?
September 16, 2022 at 5:00 pm #200895What is the better alternative?
September 16, 2022 at 5:41 pm #200896Ollie is playing a good lineup. Gorman has done little to justify playing time.
September 16, 2022 at 5:47 pm #200897Ollie puts out a good lineup. Gorman has done little to justify playing time.
September 16, 2022 at 6:06 pm #200898In case anyone was wondering, Albert has previously faced tonight’s starter RHP Justin Dunn.
6 PA, 1 H, 1 HR, 2 RBI, 1 HBP, which produces a batting line of .200/.333/.800/1.133

jj-cf-stlParticipantWho do you bench tonight to start Gorman? It’s a tough lineup to crack.
Just in case you hadn’t searched it out, StL leads mlb in offensive war (BR), and has for months.

stlcard25ParticipantBB, the Reds are going with RHP Fernando Cruz to start the game. Dunn may be the next man up, I’m not sure.
September 16, 2022 at 6:20 pm #200901I guess my source is unreliable. (kidding)
September 16, 2022 at 6:55 pm #200902din din is chicken fried in a cast iron skillet. Mashed potatoes, gravy. Peas with onions. Grape Nehi.
September 16, 2022 at 7:15 pm #200905Let’s hope they took the nerf noodles out of the bat rack.
September 16, 2022 at 7:17 pm #200906Hope to see Jack keep making positive process.
September 16, 2022 at 7:28 pm #200907Yeah Bling and the wiggle balls too! Tonight’s game is a big question mark for me. Will flapjack last more than 2 innings? Will Poblo Cruz go more than 2? He’s supposed to be a lifetime AAA reliever with occasional ML starts. Trying to sneak him in under the rug? Could turn into the battle of the pens. Let’s score some runs tonight so we don’t have to scrape something together in the 9th.
I have also surmised part of our problem has been lack of Din-din support. I’m doing my part by having Boneless round steaks and home-made deep fried potatoe chips! Go Cardinals!September 16, 2022 at 7:28 pm #200908
stlcard25ParticipantCy Cruz strikes out the Cardinals side in the first on 10 pitches.
September 16, 2022 at 7:28 pm #200909One a positive note…. Yankees already up 3-0 over Brewers in top of 1st
September 16, 2022 at 7:28 pm #200910Sheesh, this Cruz guy carved us up. But all three Ks were on pitches nowhere near the zone. Not sure if he is that deceiving or our guys just need to be a little more patient.
September 16, 2022 at 7:31 pm #200911With all these Din-Din menus coming in…. I’m living in the wrong house!!!!!!!!
September 16, 2022 at 7:34 pm #200912Can’t win without din-din!
September 16, 2022 at 7:40 pm #200913Hope to see Jack keep making positive process.
Bike, we hope you ease up on the Wild Turkey tonight!
September 16, 2022 at 7:42 pm #200914When Jim Edmonds starts yacking i hit the mute button..
September 16, 2022 at 7:46 pm #200915Funny, the guy boinks Albert and gets yanked.
September 16, 2022 at 7:47 pm #200916Oops – probably my phone spell check again. “Progress”.
To answer Rats question on Albert, “No”.
Man, tough crowd. Cruz is dominant through 5 batters, then hits a guy and is removed.
September 16, 2022 at 7:48 pm #200917Brewers load the bases with 2 outs… but McCutchen hits into the final out.
Yankees still lead 3-0
September 16, 2022 at 7:56 pm #200918OK the new rules for next year are supposed to make the game better. But what they should have done to really improve the game is move the pitching rubber back one foot. Don’t tell the pitchers, they wouldn’t even notice…

ParticipantFlaherty just goofing off. Throwing too many pitches, hope he gets out of it but come on
September 16, 2022 at 8:03 pm #200920Every time I watch Flaherty pitch. Ow I feel sad! What I though he could have been and what he is now is just demoralizing!
