Yep, Mike, what a dud of an AB by Dickerson.
August 31, 2022 at 7:58 pm #198497BikeMike…Haha! Nope, even if you tried to run away, a guy named Buck Farmer could probably chase you down and then clean your clock!
August 31, 2022 at 8:00 pm #198498Edman hitting better lately.
OPSing 1.150 over the last 9 games.
August 31, 2022 at 8:01 pm #198499Not being able to score a runner from 3B with less than 2 outs is almost as bad a spending a couple a hundred bucks on dinner and drinks and then going home alone…
August 31, 2022 at 8:02 pm #198500Cardinals giving away a patriotic hat on Labor Day. They do know Labor Day is not a patriotic holiday in the sense of Memorial Day and Fourth of July, don’t they?
Not a big deal – just seemed a bit odd.
August 31, 2022 at 8:04 pm #198501Paul DeJong is killing us. Put Edman at ss at let Donovan play second.

ParticipantThe Cards have scored 4 runs in the last 19 innings against a pitching staff that ranks 28th in MLB in ERA. Hard to explain.
August 31, 2022 at 8:05 pm #198503What are talking about 1td? A couple hundred for dinner AND drinks is a bargain these days. 😉
August 31, 2022 at 8:08 pm #198504Some of Gallegos’ pitches looked a little nasty.
August 31, 2022 at 8:08 pm #198505Our red hot offense is sputtering again. Not getting it done but look on the bright side-Yadi got a hit tonight and DeFan hit the ball 3 times!
August 31, 2022 at 8:19 pm #198506bccran…Yeah, it is, but that’s baseball. It can go either way. For instance, Sandy Koufax couldn’t get Bill Virdon out. There’s quite a few HOF pitchers who had a hard time recording outs when facing guys you’d never think would have had much success against them. A whole list of them are in an article entitled, “Who’s your daddy?”
August 31, 2022 at 8:21 pm #198507EuroDaddy…Haha! Yep, that’s why I keep Mrs. 1TD happy. I’m too much of a cheapskate to find another mate…
August 31, 2022 at 8:24 pm #198508I’ll say it once again…Fairchild looks like he’s 12.
August 31, 2022 at 8:34 pm #198509Gallegos gets run off the mound by a 12-year-old, but Romero comes in to end the 8th by picking off the 12-year-old. Still tied 2-2.
August 31, 2022 at 8:35 pm #198510JoJo in to hold em back!
August 31, 2022 at 8:36 pm #198511LOL Euro-probably a lot of Cardinals in Little League!
August 31, 2022 at 8:39 pm #198512Noot with the leadoff walk. He got me a little excited when he refused to accept the 1st “ball 4”, but he took the 2nd one. Really need to score here.
August 31, 2022 at 8:42 pm #198513Yadi looked bad trying to bunt, so Noot steals 2B instead.
August 31, 2022 at 8:48 pm #198514Noot on 2B no outs, then Yadi, Donovan and Edman come up empty. Offense not getting it done tonight.
August 31, 2022 at 8:50 pm #198515If Molina could just tap it toward third, Noot could advance and then the sac fly.
August 31, 2022 at 8:51 pm #1985161982 willie
ParticipantNot gonna lie, hell of a bunt by friedel
August 31, 2022 at 8:51 pm #198517Not getting the big hit tonight, but we are keeping them from doing that as well. One of these clubs will crack.
Man, great leadoff bunt. That is what you need to see more of in this era of mega-shifting.
August 31, 2022 at 8:52 pm #198518Romero facing Barrero. I have a feeling we are about to commit and error.
August 31, 2022 at 8:52 pm #198519Last 2 innings we had runners in scoring position and come up with zip.Trying to lose this game.
August 31, 2022 at 8:58 pm #198520Whew – thought that was long gone.
