Just looked it up and the longest game since the extra inning rule is 16 innings. Dodgers/Padres last August 26th.
so cal, they were waiting for you to ask. Finally. Now, does Andre Danger Pallante have another inning to give? Stratton? Thompson? McFarland lurking around the stadium somewhere? Noot just made it much simpler by adding a 2-run shot, now 5-2.
Pallante with only 20 pitches in his 2 IP. Should be plenty okay to nail this one down. Man, that was a big HR with this silly rule in place.
Now I can enjoy the replay on Noot.
He was an excited kid going to the dugout. Albert was getting a kick out of him.
Wow glad that’s over with. All that fruitless rips was making my Blood pressure go up. What can you say? Ineffective at the plate but showed resilience to hang in for the win. I love that scrappiness. We go back home with a win.
