1td, can’t help but think of my 91 year old Mom now because of you. She is a big Braves fan and might just be watching this game. She always thought Elvis and Wayne Newton were such handsome gents.

All the ladies back then loved Elvis and Newton. My Mom loved Tom Jones so much I think my dad thought there may have been something going on he didn’t know about…

Waino can at least tip his cap towards the cheering fans as he exits the field of play ….I don’t like that.

My mother liked and still likes that Englebert Humperdinck(I know the spelling is off) fellow. And my father loved Herb Albert & The Tijuana Brass.

Well, good teams like the Braves rarely go quietly. Let’s see how the Redbirds respond.

If you put a meatball right down Broadway it doesn’t matter if its 100 mph.

Well at least it’s not a no-no. Need a couple more runs now.

Almost anytime Yadi bats with a runner on 1st base with less than 2 outs, you better have that runner stealing 2nd base.

I’m not a baseball wizard but have been a Cardinals fan since the mid-1960’s. Seems every time I am able to see them play on TV, Marmol either makes a pitching change or leaves a pitcher in too long and it is a disaster like tonight.

Pugs…Yep, with anyone other than Molina running down the 1B line, that 3-6-1 DP makes the highlight reel.

If we lose this game. That will be 3-4 games where we’ve had a lead against the Mets, Dodgers and Braves and we’ve haven’t closed the door and taken a series

This is a major concern heading into the playoffs.

6 outs to get 2 runs. Not out of reach with the big kids still looming.

Hell of a smash by Edman. He has regressed against lefties but he put a charge into that one.
