I was in Puerto Rico last month. He is losing fan support with his antics since he bought the team.

Definitely some strange things surrounding Yadi as he closes the book on his career. You would think with Albert back, and he and Waino setting records on that all-time battery list, he would be fired up for a big finish.

This Yadi deal is perplexing. It’s become painfully obvious that Yadi’s love lies with his Puerto Rican basketball squad over being with the Cardinals. I bet any American professional women’s basketball team could totally kick Yadi’s Puerto Rican men’s team’s keesters.

He got into it with a referee a few weeks ago and kicked the ball. He apologized. He got into an argument with the other team in the final coach via Instagram. He threatened him. Then had to apologize but it was a less than sincere aplogy.

Just read the local newspaper. He is home for the basketball game. He won’t attend today since the game is at the other team’s venue. His team can win the championship tonight. But if there is a 7th game he will attend.

Yadi is sure abusing his status.

Astounding…A basketball game? Well, he is put together a bit like Chuck Barkley, but man alive…Now he thinks he’s Mark Cuban.

If all this is true, then he’s gone full blown prima-donna.

On a good note……Milwaukee loses to the Cubs again today. 6-5 Cubs in 11 innings. We can increase the NL Central lead to five games with a win tonight.

Time to watch Charles Stanley and then the Redbirds!

You have to wonder where Yadi’s love for the game of basketball stems? Yeah Yadi is a professional athlete, but I couldn’t even begin to imagine him dribbling a basketball……or even shooting one with any kind of accuracy…..though I think he’s proved that he can kick a basketball. Well let’s hope Ivan Herrera is poised to take that next step.

Well, anyway…Everyone’s favorite SS Paulie is in tonight’s line-up in the 7 slot which doesn’t surprise me too much, but if the Redbird manager doesn’t find a way to shoe-horn Donovan and a .403 OBP in tomorrow’s line-up, I’ll be highly disappointed. As others have suggested, tomorrow may also feature Gorman at 2B with Eddie moving over to SS. Maybe Kizner will feature a nice couple of games and this fiasco will be a blessing. AK-7 is due for some hits.

Pugs…Yeah, Kizner’s in there tonight, but I’ve seen no where near enough of Herrera for him to have created any sort of an impression. I’ve heard that the defense is suspect, but I simply don’t know enough to get a read. I’m reasonably sure others on here who follow the affiliates have a much better idea than I do.

Well, I’d say it’s official and you can call it in. After losing the first two games at Wrigley, the Brewers look to have spun a crankshaft bearing and the entire thing is about to scatter about 40 laps shy of the finish line. Lotta bad noise and smoke coming from their motor.

Kind of hard to believe that the Jays are now only 7 in back of the Yankees. With a bit over 40 games remaining, it’s a possibility. Still a pretty soft cushion, but you just know heads are on fire in NY.

Devin Williams blew the save in the 9th. He’s the guy that was featured in some of the soundbites at the trade deadline when he voiced disappointment with the front office after they traded Hader. Williams has 2 losses and now a blown save since the trade.

5 pitches, 3 outs. Gotta make him work harder than that for his money.

Top of 1. Madison Bumgarner toeing the Arizona rubber tonight.

Carlson, first pitch swinging, sends one in the air to center, just as he did in his first at bat last night….but this this fly ball will fall well short of the 410 foot fly ball out from last evening…..1 down.

O’Neill grounds out to Alcantara at 3rd base

Goldy flys out to Thomas in short center field.

1-0 Arizona right out of the box, compliments of a 1 out walk, single and sac fly to deep center…plus Rojas seizes 2nd base too on Walker’s rbi sac fly. As we spoke of last night, whenever I see this young Rojas fellow, I can’t help but think of Cookie Rojas…..and Cookie certainly was not a ham & egger, just like this young player for the Diamondbacks. Now a single to right makes it 2-0, as Nooty just missed catching it on a diving attempt. 2-0 as we head to the 2nd inning.

    Top of 2.

Arenado grounds out to Alcantara at 3rd base.

Albert……is met with a nice round of applause. Albert throttles a long one to deep center!….Thomas back to the wall and leaps….bombs away baby…..gone for career #691…..and the roar of the crowd would make one think we were 1400 miles further east from where we’re at here…2-1 AZ

    Edman grounds out to short

DeJong grounds out to Alcantara at 3rd.

Hudson not sharp 1st inning, guessing something on his mind?
