From 10/31 to today, the #stlcards odds of winning the 2020 World Series have shortened from 25/1 to 16/1, now same as Brewers, which were 14/1. Other NL Central clubs are unchanged – Cubs 20/1, Reds 33/1 and Bucs 100/1, all according to @betonline_ag.

December 11, 2019 at 5:49 pm #116539How the Brewers are 14/1 with no starting pitching is hard to see.
StL addition by subtraction (Ozuna)?
Moose doesn’t move the needle in Cincy?
December 11, 2019 at 6:35 pm #116540Small point, but Brewers are 16/1 now. The anomalies show you where to place your bets!
December 11, 2019 at 6:59 pm #116545The Pirates at 100-1? Seriously, if they were 1,000,000-1, you still couldn’t waste a buck on them. They have no chance to win it all…..none.
December 12, 2019 at 11:45 am #11660014NyquisTParticipantThat thar wants me to put a sawbuck on the Buccos.
December 15, 2019 at 8:10 pm #1168693rd in the NL Central seems about right. We’ll see if they make some moves or bring Ozuna back.
December 15, 2019 at 8:13 pm #116870Why do you say that? Look around the division. The Cubs have done nothing either. They lost Castellanos and the Cards lost Ozuna but St. Louis has better prospects close to the majors. The Brewers have lost a bunch of players and still have no starting pitching to speak of. The Reds have made some nice additions, but people said the same thing last year and they went on to finish 16 games behind the Cards. That is a lot of ground to make up. The Pirates are just depressing.
December 15, 2019 at 8:17 pm #116871We should win the Central with the current team.
December 16, 2019 at 8:32 am #116885Good summary Brian. Has Castellanos signed somewhere yet?
December 16, 2019 at 9:27 am #116898No, he has not. Maybe he and Ozuna will be in the next wave of free agent signings.
December 30, 2019 at 9:54 am #117883December 30, 2019 at 12:18 pm #11789914NyquisTParticipantgsc…. I read the Dawson piece but the content doesn’t exactly fit the headline. Some stuff is reasonable to assume. At best its something to read in these dead spots of the off-season. I hope he is wrong about Reyes.
January 23, 2020 at 12:23 pm #120480Newest MLB over/under win totals for NL Central teams in 2020 per @betonline_ag: #stlcards 88 1/2, Cubs 86 1/2, Brewers 83 1/2, Reds 83 1/2, Bucs 71 1/2. NL leaders: Dodgers, Braves, Nats, Cards, Mets/Cubs.

January 23, 2020 at 3:59 pm #120495That looks about right to me.
January 23, 2020 at 4:14 pm #120499Right now, I would take the over.
January 23, 2020 at 4:36 pm #120506Not a projection, but a prediction. Rob Rains believes the Cardinals will win more than 91 games and make it to the 2020 World Series.

January 24, 2020 at 7:57 am #120530Looks kind of dated. No Kim, Thomas, Ravelo
January 28, 2020 at 2:27 pm #120855Since the Castellanos trade, the Reds moved up one win – from 83 1/2 to 84 1/2. None of the others in the division have changed. #stlcards still at 88 1/2. https://t.co/XpzTXTXbb7

February 4, 2020 at 8:37 am #121369USA TODAY has the #stlcards winning the NL Central by three games over the Reds – 88 wins to 85. Cubs in 4th place. https://t.co/TXMyfot7T1

February 4, 2020 at 8:57 am #121372The Rockies seem to be a little short of 94.
February 4, 2020 at 10:16 am #121386Poor Pittsburgh. Losing 100 games is rough, and if they trade Bell or others it could get really ugly.
Also, Colorado at 72…does that include Arenado or with the expectation that he will be traded at some point?
February 4, 2020 at 2:01 pm #121402Lord the outfield looks weak. Not one bat added. Amazing.
February 4, 2020 at 2:15 pm #121404And the Cards are still favored to win the division according to every source we have seen so far. Imagine that!

The pitching could be special. I’m bullish on the young outfield, too. I think this team wins 90+ games, easily.
