jj-cf-stlParticipantMe too BW, Gomber was at 75 pitches and handed Gallegos the bottom of the order.
September 27, 2020 at 4:10 pm #142211
jj-cf-stlParticipant22-1 when scoring 5 or more runs. Another good IP from Gallegos.
September 27, 2020 at 4:11 pm #142212
stlcard25ParticipantGreat work by Gallegos. Vintage stuff for him. On to the bottom of the 6th. How about some more runs, bottom of the lineup?
September 27, 2020 at 4:16 pm #142213Was Gomber okay? SUrprised he didn’t pitch the 5th. Only had 75 pitches. But I can’t argue with how Gallegos did.
September 27, 2020 at 4:20 pm #142215
stlcard25ParticipantNo offense in the 6th. But we can live with it if the bullpen keeps shutting them down.

jj-cf-stlParticipant76 pitches was his season high, last outing. His stock rose with me and I’m already a fan of his.

Gomber hasn’t pitched more than that this year, I don’t think. So it seems in line with the workload they have put on him so far.
September 27, 2020 at 4:22 pm #142218Cabrera on … go get ‘em!
September 27, 2020 at 4:23 pm #142219Cabrera coming in with one on in the 7th to relieve Gallegos, who gave up a cheap single up the middle.
SD now up 4-1 over SF in the 7th. Our golden ticket to a Detroit free existence.
September 27, 2020 at 4:31 pm #142221
stlcard25ParticipantCabrera finishes a scoreless 7th. A few more Cards runs would make me more comfortable.
September 27, 2020 at 4:47 pm #142226Reyes coming in. Two on one out.
September 27, 2020 at 4:49 pm #142227
stlcard25ParticipantOk, Alex, let’s get out of this quick. Get that cheater out!!
September 27, 2020 at 4:49 pm #142228Hope things pan out so that tomorrow turns out to be one of those rare 2020 off days. The next time I visit Detroit, I want it to be for the 2021 World Series. How about Genesis “Cabby” Cabrera! I’m thinking that if he keeps progressing, next year I’ll give him the nickname “The Dominant Dominican”.
September 27, 2020 at 4:53 pm #142229Nice pitch by Reyes to strike out Braun! One more to go.
September 27, 2020 at 4:53 pm #142230
stlcard25ParticipantReyes can’t seem to control the breaking ball. Was good with the fastball the first three pitches against Braun. Nice fastball on the outside there! Down goes Braun!
September 27, 2020 at 4:54 pm #142231Well well well….looking who’s coming thru in the crunch. Good show Mr. Reyes!
September 27, 2020 at 4:55 pm #142232Lookie…..not looking
September 27, 2020 at 4:55 pm #142233Way to settle down Alex. Gets Jedd!
September 27, 2020 at 4:56 pm #142234
stlcard25ParticipantReyes blows Gyorko away!! Stays 5-1
September 27, 2020 at 4:56 pm #142235Whew!
September 27, 2020 at 4:58 pm #142236Another run would be nice.
September 27, 2020 at 4:59 pm #142237Wow, this is fun!
Philly losing 5-0 after their 8th.
SF losing 5-3 after coming back in the 7th.
Brewers looking to back into the playoffs with a loss!
September 27, 2020 at 5:00 pm #142238
stlcard25ParticipantGoldy will finish the season over .300. Well done, Goldy.
September 27, 2020 at 5:00 pm #142239
stlcard25ParticipantFirst two on for the Cards in the 8th. Insurance runs??
September 27, 2020 at 5:02 pm #142240Wow … Brewers turn a “made to order” triple play!
