Yet another one. I felt like the Brewers weren’t so much known for defense but they are making great plays all over the field.
I really don’t like this Brewers catcher. He’s a real showboat. Hopefully the ump takes that into account on borderline calls the rest of the game.
Dejong’s ball is a hit 80% of the time…
Socal, here is the in game feed to let you know what the probabilities are in game…

Gomber gets the K and he’s through 3.
Bader leads it off with a triple!
Bader and Goldy have the best vs lefty numbers on the club. Gotta get on the board here.
O’Neill walks. Good at bat. Now it’s time for Wong to drive Bader in.
Anderson is injured, so he’s out of the game.
Dynamics change if it’s a RHP coming in?
He had a finger blister and his last pitch to TON showed he lost control of the call out of his hand.
we’re going to get the best relievers they have, have to earn it boys
That rain in the western part of Missouri looks to be headed towards STL. Hopefully we get the game in before it hits.
O’Neill gets the stolen base. Two in scoring position.
Chance to do some damage here.
Wong swings at a pitch that hits him. Not great.
I was just going to say we had a pretty high success stealing bases last vear. And on cue, O’Neill steals second.
That worked out great. Peralta chucks the ball away. Bader probably would have been dead to rights if Freddie had caught that. 2-0 Cards.
Goldy with the single…3-0 Cards!
Edman has same illness most Cards have. Can’tmoverunnersoverirus.
But Goldschmidt drives in Wong. 3-0
Carlson took some mighty cuts that at bat. Unfortunately he did not connect.
I’m glad Carlson got recalled, nothing could emulate these type of PA’s or game experience. Just adds to his development.
