That guy must have really needed the coin to just take the 11K profit. You can’t even buy a nice tv these days for 11K. Obviously, he did not see the movie “Field of Dreams” where they said “Go the distance”.
Sooner, try Reddit. Search for MLB streams. You can chromcast it if you right the devices or you can use an HDMi to hook your laptop to your tv (if you have the right devices). This is the current method I’ve been using this season.
This series has turned out to be a great one. 6 road wins – first time in history in any of the three playoff-series sports that has happened. Great players on both sides – especially young players and those in their prime.
An Astros win puts that team among the all-time greats. A Nationals win gets Washington its first title since 1924. Can’t really lose.
Through five innings the Astros lead 2-0. They have left quite a few on base though, so I get a feeling that might come back to haunt them. Could be the Nats’ night still.
Greinke has been very good and Scherzer has been pretty good, albeit a bit fortunate. Cole was up in the pen while the Astros were batting in the 5th, so it’ll be interesting to see what Hinch does. Greinke is at 59 pitches, I’d leave him in. Scherzer is at 103 pitches.
Greinke throws an 8-pitch 6th, so obviously Hinch wasn’t considering going to Cole. Just getting him limbered for later I suppose. Greinke is now at just 67 pitches, so he could go very deep in this game.
Greinke has terrific stuff tonight. Not much is being hit hard off him. A lot of weak taps back to the mound. He is mastering the philosophy of Dave Duncan – pitch to contact.
Not many pitching gurus believe in that anymore.
Greinke was dominant, but Hinch pulled him after a homer and walk – a walk in which Greinke was squeezed on a call – and now its 3-2 Washington.
Jim Wolfe has called a good game, but missed that pitch to Soto.
Thought maybe Martinez would give Adams a shot there for either Gomes or Robles. Try to push the lead.
Houston really had themselves a nice little season. Unfortunately for them, they ran into a runaway freight train named the Washington Nationals. Maybe next year for the Stros?????

Turner needs to turn on one here….but he settles for the free pass to load the bases to their full capacity here in the 9th and that will inspire the Houston skipper to reach into his bullpen one last time to restore order. Have to stick with Corbin to close this baby out….don’t you?
Nats have been clutch and the Astros have totally unraveled now. Hinch hasn’t made a good call yet tonight.
