Seeing Pages get the could ball on the hand – I remember when catchers would put their right hand behind their back to prevent that exact thing happening.
After the injury, I noticed Pages had his right hand behind his back on a pitch, and then the next pitch he didn’t. Seems like that’s something you’d do every pitch, or why bother at all?
Yeah Mike, I wondered if the hand behind the back is a nuance I just haven’t paid attention to in years. Do most do it nowadays or not?
