This Phillies BP has been airtight this series.

Defense a bit sloppy tonight but we’re still in this game. May go extra innings. Libby did look great. Carlsons looking like he can’t hit anything.Swing looks weak. Hernandez gets the hook. Bout time for Nado or Goldy to connect on one. Goldys timing looks off to me.

2 infield hits. That last one looked like it was hit off astroturf in the old Busch stadium. No chance to get the runner.

Wooster – I was actually encouraged that Carlson has had about 5 swings tonight where he was right on it and fouled it back. I was thinking maybe he’s close to getting back. But maybe I’m looking through rose colored glasses.

We are playing mix and match very early.

It would be huge if Carlson could come around. So frustrating the injury than the slow comeback.

Hes got long arms and gets exstension but the bat looks slow to me. Seen him fan twice swing at high outside pitches above the zone. Eye candy-just because you can see it good doesn’t mean you can hit it!

Gorman should spend less time staring out after getting punched out and more time adjusting his approach.

I have long wished to see Liberatore in a role where he could put everything he has into 15 pitches. Still, I am not convinced they are done jerking him around.

So swinging for the fences or a line drive single? I’ll take the line drive. Dadgummit! Kick the water cooler!

You aren’t wrong. At least for the rest of this year. So tempting, though, to start him.

Marsh singles because Burleson too slow to get over to catch it. This feels like a 2033 game.

    Looks like a Marshall hammy?

That was an odd looking play on the left side of the IF.

Yeah Jnevel and Lynn to heavy to catch that grounder. Wonder if he could pitch as good if he lost 30 lbs?

Yeah Dom but it worked- pin him to the ground.

If the Phillies would have had to earn a living tonight, it’d be 4-0 Cardinals.

Yeah Husker can’t believe we got out of that one. Still in this game!
