This Phillies BP has been airtight this series.

ParticipantDefense a bit sloppy tonight but we’re still in this game. May go extra innings. Libby did look great. Carlsons looking like he can’t hit anything.Swing looks weak. Hernandez gets the hook. Bout time for Nado or Goldy to connect on one. Goldys timing looks off to me.
June 2, 2024 at 8:09 pm #2548052 infield hits. That last one looked like it was hit off astroturf in the old Busch stadium. No chance to get the runner.
June 2, 2024 at 8:10 pm #254807Wooster – I was actually encouraged that Carlson has had about 5 swings tonight where he was right on it and fouled it back. I was thinking maybe he’s close to getting back. But maybe I’m looking through rose colored glasses.

jj-cf-stlParticipantWe are playing mix and match very early.
June 2, 2024 at 8:14 pm #254809It would be huge if Carlson could come around. So frustrating the injury than the slow comeback.

ParticipantHes got long arms and gets exstension but the bat looks slow to me. Seen him fan twice swing at high outside pitches above the zone. Eye candy-just because you can see it good doesn’t mean you can hit it!

jj-cf-stlParticipantJoJo scoreless.
June 2, 2024 at 8:31 pm #254812Gorman should spend less time staring out after getting punched out and more time adjusting his approach.
June 2, 2024 at 8:32 pm #254813Wooster2
ParticipantGot something going here?
June 2, 2024 at 8:33 pm #254814Wooster2
ParticipantCarp does what hes good at. Nice sac!
June 2, 2024 at 8:34 pm #254815
jj-cf-stlParticipantBronze busts on, 1 down
June 2, 2024 at 8:34 pm #254816Missed a big chance.
June 2, 2024 at 8:34 pm #254817I have long wished to see Liberatore in a role where he could put everything he has into 15 pitches. Still, I am not convinced they are done jerking him around.
June 2, 2024 at 8:36 pm #254818Wooster2
ParticipantSo swinging for the fences or a line drive single? I’ll take the line drive. Dadgummit! Kick the water cooler!
June 2, 2024 at 8:38 pm #254819I have long wished to see Liberatore in a role where he could put everything he has into 15 pitches. Still, I am not convinced they are done jerking him around.
You aren’t wrong. At least for the rest of this year. So tempting, though, to start him.
June 2, 2024 at 8:39 pm #254820Marsh singles because Burleson too slow to get over to catch it. This feels like a 2033 game.
June 2, 2024 at 8:40 pm #254821Wooster2
ParticipantLooks like a Marshall hammy?
June 2, 2024 at 8:43 pm #254822That was an odd looking play on the left side of the IF.
June 2, 2024 at 8:43 pm #254823Wooster2
ParticipantYeah Jnevel and Lynn to heavy to catch that grounder. Wonder if he could pitch as good if he lost 30 lbs?
June 2, 2024 at 8:44 pm #254824Wooster2
ParticipantYeah Dom but it worked- pin him to the ground.
June 2, 2024 at 8:45 pm #254825Nice job getting out of a potential mess.
June 2, 2024 at 8:46 pm #254826Wooster2
ParticipantYou know what this game has alot of action so far!
June 2, 2024 at 8:46 pm #254827If the Phillies would have had to earn a living tonight, it’d be 4-0 Cardinals.
June 2, 2024 at 8:47 pm #254828Wooster2
ParticipantYeah Husker can’t believe we got out of that one. Still in this game!
