Our young shortstop cost us at least 2 runs and about 15-20 more pitches from Lynn. Oddly, it was about an easy of a double play as they come. But Winn bobbled it trying to take it out of the glove.

Good teams always make you pay for the “Das Boot”…Both the E-5 last night and the E-6 tonight cost the Cardinals 2 runs apiece.

Lynn has not been lucky with getting a lot of run support or the defense playing well behind him. He only has a 3.38 ERA, but his RA/9 is around 4.8. He has allowed 31 runs, but only 22 earned. Not all of that is him as it is the D, but it seems Lynn has a hard time pitching around errors and almost always lets that runner score.

Yeah 1TD if you sort the Cards pitchers on Runs allowed, Lynn is 2nd behind Mikolas. All of Mikolas’s 40 runs are earned. No other pitcher even has close to the ratio of unearned to earned as Lynn does either.

I can’t understand how Burleson doesn’t hit more bombs like the last one. Especially, against RHP. Obviously, the home run potential is there.

Lance has pitched well, Albert. The 3.34 ERA tells the story. He’s 2-3 and his pitching counterpart in tonight’s game is 3-1 with an ERA well north of 6.00. Sometimes life just ain’t fair…Haha!

He is the antithesis of the true outcomes hitter. The Cardinals probably have no real idea what to do with that. They wouldn’t have known what to do with a Pete Rose for example. Send him to a guru to work on his launch angle.

Lynn’s listed at 280 lbs. but I’m guessing he tips the scale at 300 lbs. He looks like a RH’ed CC.
