I don’t know how they can reverse this one.

    Edit…It stands!

Wow I’m am glad Anaya missed that tag. They should have had Burly dead to rights. The big man was running hard and thankfully he got in with that slide

Good job by Carp too off the bench

Donovan for the lead! It is a good thing we kept it close with our RPs

Noot! I know Rats somehow thinks Noot is a disappointment, but I think talent wise he is the best hitter we have on the active roster with Goldy and Arenado showing aging signs.

Hodge on for Chicago and he just lodged a pitch over his catcher’s head….Donovan to 2nd. Nooty then triples to right scoring Donovan and this baby is starting to take on characteristics of being a laugher…..I know I’m all smiles

That was 4 two out RBI’s. When’s the last time that’s happened?

Mikey don’t likey……7-5 now with 1 out and 2 on…..and if possible, I would like to strike my words about this game turning into a laugher right off the record.

That’s a winner! Despite Helsey’s struggles, he did just enough to close it out

Whew! That’s a winner! What a finish! Our HR streak ends. But beating the Cubs makes it more than worth it.

Still 2 games under, but that’s 4 consecutive W’s which is the best string of wins for the season.

That’s way more excitement than what I need. Burleson and Winn igniting this offense. Thank goodness Goldy looking better. This is the offense we thought we would have. I assume no Sunday lineup-but. Nevermind. Winn and Burly over .300? Us old guys still like that stat.
