Slatten still pitching for Boston as we hit the bottom of the 8th. I think Burly might end up getting the big hit. He’s locked in at the plate tonight, but has gooseeggs to show for it.

Romero has been overworked lately. He had a long layoff while we were terrible, but now he’s getting used almost daily. Need someone else who can get outs.

Gorman getting that hit put all of our against RHP starting lineup above a .200 batting average for now. Not amazing, but considering where we were a couple of weeks ago that is big progress

That was funny because it happened to the right team, but that’s a long run to the OF wall when the baseball scoots under the ol’ oven mitt like that.
