Yeah, Mikolas had that 18-4 debut season as a Cardinal, but has since steadily trended downward to a sub .500 career W/L record that now sits at 57-58.

I’d guess a little better than last night…18.5K turnstile clicks.

Yeah 1TD a turnstile count would be interesting to see instead of just tickets sold

What was Herrera’s pop time there? It looked really slow to me. He stood full upright before starting his throw motion.

The turnstile clicks produce the revenue that contains the fat. Tickets don’t drink beer, eat hot dogs or buy their kids a jersey.

Let’s see if Burly can muscle up here with 2 on and 2 out in a scoreless game in the bottom of the 1st……and he’s robbed of a bloop single to center on a nice inward dive to the turf by Rafaela.

40K 1TD and from that shot, it looks like at least 30K there

    Team D, still a plus

Near out field collision….again. These guys are professionals. One would think our Cardinal outfielders would be better versed on saying “I got it”, and then the other converging outfielder steers clear.

Gorman socks a solo shot to right….1-0. Kutter’s cutter didn’t cut.

Gorman leaves no doubt whenever he connects.

I like Gorman batting 7th for the RBI opps, but I’ll take a solo tater!

Gorman has power potential that simply can’t be taught. The ball jumps off his bat and he can hit it out anywhere

And Jimmy basically repeats some of what I am saying. All fields power for Gorman

Siani is going to homer one of these months. I’m saying he hits his first in July.

Yeah, ATM, the baseball leaves his bat as if it’s exiting a silo.

Siani blisters a base hit to right. He very well may be our most improved hitter since opening day…..with a tip of the cap to Burly.

Siani jumps on a mistake. ✅

Any word when Edman is back? It has been nice watching Siani play, but I don’t see him still in CF starting when Edman is back.

Gorman really seems to like Red Sox pitching. Remember last year when he burned Jansen two days in a row? The Crimson Stockings will likely ask about his availability at the winter meetings this December.

So it seems Carlson is a forgotten man, although I guess for now he will platoon against lefties.

Speaking of Siani, Albert. Any of you guys remember that wide receiver back in the day of the Raiders by the name of Mike Siani? Lamonica to Siani. Our Siani and Mike Siani have to be related in some fashion, with both being athletic and both being able to stay within 10 yards of Usain Bolt in the 100 yard dash.

That’s a fair usage of Carlson considering our need to win.

For what it’s worth, I’ve enjoyed the urgency Oli is managing with since the losing streak.
