Marmol should have kicked him in the nutts. If rounds have caused shriveling that would be the proof.

About time Goldschmidt got ahold of one.

Yeah to me one of the worst parts of his year so far is that he was borderline HoF beforehand, and such a bad year may not let him get in. He has had a deserving career to get in in my opinion.

We seem to only hit homers with the bases empty.

Unless Danny D also got tossed I think the bench coach usually takes over when the manager gets ejected.

Goldy’s lifetime WAR is right at where Todd Helton is, and Helton got in. Goldy is unlikely to add much to his number, and is in negative territory this year. If he can even add a couple of points to that and avoid the negative stigma of a late career collapse he should eventually make it in.

I believe he did get ejected as well.

Thanks Texas. I don’t know who is in charge then. It should be Stubby but knowing the Cards it is probably Blake.

Hitting coach Turner Ward is managing the team for the rest of the game.

Well that makes sense since half of our team is hitting under .200.

William Contreras has obviously sold his soul to the devil – everything he hits sneaks through the infield or finds grass.

With Ward’s influence, maybe he should be our pitching coach. He seems to be better at understanding how to get hitters out than getting them to hit.

That stroke to LF is key for Siani

Is what Siani is right now about what we expect out of Scott, but with more BBs and less SBs? Siani’s glove has been absolutely amazing and Scott’s wasn’t as good while he was here.

Well, this will be a test as to whether Goldy can turn it around.

They both bring a decent glove,Albert, but I don’t think either one of them will ever bring the sort of bat required to be a primary CF’er in the Big Leagues. In my view, the only chance they have to stay around with any team is as a late inning defensive replacement.

Hum, Marmol exits stage left and suddenly Goldschmidt has two hits including a homerun and two rbis. Well….
