Lynn had a solid game and JoJo and Helsley slammed the door shut. Our pitching won us this game.
It is hard to say you deserved the win when you get only 4 hits. But it was the As and a win counts the same as any other win.
I wonder what will happen with Thompson. Since exiting the rotation 14 days ago, he has pitched once. A 3 inning middle relief appearance 7 days ago. That went well I think. I guess he will ride the bench until something goes wrong with somebody else. Not really the outcome you want from a first rounder.
