He had a solid season last year and was rewarded with a public execution.

Well, at least Scott is getting some AAA experience tonight . . .

Gray at only 58 pitches. He still hasn’t walked anyone this season. Tewks…

Walker singles oppo on a slider away. Plus, plus timing on a tough pitch type for him. Tacks on an rbi.

I fear continuing to send Scott to the plate may be ruining his chances forever! Some people never recover from this kind of failure! Enough is enough and it’s been enough for at least a week!

72 pitches (50 strikes), probably done for the night. Quite a tidy, efficient 6 innings.

We need a SP2 & SP3 just like Sonny Gray.

Unbelievable…Gray exits after not surrendering a BB all season long and Kittredge promptly allows the lead-off man to reach on a walk.

But he erases him on a DP. Kittredge gets lots of ground balls with his style of throwing.

We all knew that in the off season and what we got was Gibson and Lynn! If we can get one quality starter a year by the time Gray’s contract is over we might be competitive again

Walkers oppo single swing was pretty impressive. He was beat, way early, but he stayed thru the zone long enough, and kept the barrel back. Just served it to right. He saved that AB very well.

Kittredge has been better than good to this point, Jnevel. I just thought it was a bit backhanded for the first guy he faced to reach base on a BB after Gray hadn’t yet walked anyone this season. Turned out okay.

Haha…Sounds like a solid plan, Steve!

Hernaiz for Oakland has actually been a worse hitter than Scott has so far this season.

Oli had Siani in right for the eight.

With GG and Pallante struggling, its good Kitt and JoJo can be counted on.

Good bunt attempt, it’s at least competitive.

Scott’s not unlike the drunk guy at the rigged dice game. He doesn’t have a chance.

    6-30 w/RISP in last 3 games.

Scott’s situation is starting to feel stubborn without obvious reason.

Sign a vet backup to Siani, and get Scott back on his career path, seems overdue to me.

Siani won’t be worse. Tell his backup to bring a ping pong paddle. When a CF comes back, DFA him. The writing is on the wall. No-one will be surprised.

While I understand the reasons Scott was called up, premature promotions have become a feature, not a bug with this organization.

Scott is likely being told what he needs to be at this point. Lace em up and be ready to play. I expect he will be sent down once a real CF is ready to come of the DL. Calm down everyone. This isn’t ruining his career. Lol

You want a back up CF to Siani? I’m not going to comb milb to figure this one out.

It’s always nice to see a winning box score in the morning.

Why did Gray come out after 72 pitches? Still on a pitch count?

30th in mlb, at CF, with over double the negative value of the 29th team. Lets just sit on our hands and hope, like last season, because it easier than trying to improve.
