Love the St. Louis media polishing a turd after today’s game: “Hey Gibson lost us the game in the first inning but he saved the bullpen.” Yes there’s gonna be games like this every season but I have a sickening feeling that’s going to be very common place this year.
To me they look much better because of the defense. It’s 10 games. Getting Gray, Noot, and Carlson back will really help both the pitching and offense. Hopefully Carlson can continue the improved play he showed in spring training. Scott should be sent down today. We aren’t doing him any favors by keeping him up. We need much better play from Goldy and Arenado, or we are a 500 team. But still it beats the fiasco that was 2023.
