742 year old Howie Kendrick somehow is immune to age related decline.October 14, 2019 at 7:53 pm #111591

Jack’s about done. No way this one is going back to St L. Cards haven’t done much of anything since Atlanta. I guess the F-Bomb speech didn’t work.October 14, 2019 at 7:54 pm #1115931964cardsParticipantPaid - Annual

May be? It is over now. The only painful thing is they have to play another damn game.October 14, 2019 at 7:58 pm #111596Carter Le GrandParticipantFree
I won’t be watching. See you all next yearOctober 14, 2019 at 8:05 pm #111597
well I missed the first couple of innings. I tune in to see ozuna miss a ball he should have caught, then watched Molina just get lazy and let one get by him. ozuna is hitting but apparently no one else is. I liked schildt starting Martinez but it wasn’t enough. anybody for fowler would have been an improvement. how bout moving edman up in the order. even Flaherty isn’t solid tonight. im gonna keep hoping as long as we got outs but its hard.October 14, 2019 at 8:12 pm #111598
Not good Flaherty giving up singles to lead off batter every inning now. Bull pen time? Getting a single each inning now. We may be able to get back in it if we stop them from scoring.October 14, 2019 at 8:12 pm #111599

Well people, we jumped 40 years, from a 1964-esque run in the regular season, to what is shaping up to be a 2004-esque run in the post season.
Still not over ‘til it’s over. You never know.October 14, 2019 at 8:24 pm #111603

Well one is gone for sure but not sure the other two aren’t going anywhere as much as some would like.

it just seems like cardinals are just sitting and waiting on fastballs. got to go up there trying to hit his off speed pitches.October 14, 2019 at 8:34 pm #111606atripleshyofthecycleParticipantFree

It doesn’t seem that way when they actually get a fastball and then do nothing with it.
This team massively overachieved this year. I’m not sure how to square that with a manager that I think is terrible, but this collection of players with how they played should not have won more than 81 games.October 14, 2019 at 8:37 pm #111607CardsFanInChiTownParticipantFree
Birdman, I agree, but can I request adding Carp to your list? Eat half his salary and send him to the AL.October 14, 2019 at 8:38 pm #111608
Well at least one can dream. Fowler is the worst to me. So lazy. No effort!October 14, 2019 at 8:40 pm #111609
Yes let’s please add Carpenter. Cut all those salaries and we could actually buy a hitter. Rendon for instance!October 14, 2019 at 8:41 pm #111611RatsbuddyParticipantFree
742 year old Howie Kendrick doubles again and its now 5-0 Nationals.
Turn out the lights the party’s over…….
r/Esteemed Rat <~~~~who is going to watch an episode of Quincy M.E.

Brebbia throwing Home Run Derby pitches…October 14, 2019 at 8:45 pm #111614Houstonlarry24ParticipantFree
Can anyone remember a more pitiful effort through three games of League Championship baseball? If Mo sits on his ass this offseason and does not shake this 40 man roster Lord please fire him.October 14, 2019 at 8:46 pm #111615
brebbia picked a bad time to just throw pitches down the middle. their pitchers have executed, ours haven’t at times though mikolas and waino actually pitched well. their hitters are getting clutch hits, ours are just striking out or just hitting easy fly balls.October 14, 2019 at 8:47 pm #111616
Y’all still watching that trash? I turned it long ago. Like after the first hit up the middle for the Nats. Knew it was over then.October 14, 2019 at 8:53 pm #111617
no houstonlarry, I don’t think I can remember a worse offensive performance. ive been watching baseball since the 70s. confidence is what feeds a pitcher and what pitcher wouldn’t have confidence against our guys.
